Ive never been unemployed my whole adult life,25 by the way,so wat options do i have?
No I didnt get fired,after 20 years they closing company down,worked there for 4 years,split between part and full time,got comfortable there cuz they put up with my shyt,calling off all the time,showing up hung over,etc etc.plus plenty of female co workers to smash,all while paying me $16/hr
everyone plans on just collecting unemployment,but i dont even know how that works brehs.
I already planned to go back to school to get certified in air conditioning,my couins's husband was gonna put me on once i got certified at his company,and would be eating well
that requires going to school full time if i wanna knock it out in 6 -9 months,thats where my unemployment
comes in,BUT that wont be enough,not with car note and bills to pay for.People at work said that you could also get food stamps and collect unemployment at the same damn time,others said welfare,a few said they would get another job that payed cash and also collect,my Gf told me that they also have unemployement financial aid if you go back to school or some shyt,so im comming to you guys because im clueless,I either wanna go back to school and get certified in 6-9 months,all while collecting unemployement/ebt and financial aid if any or say fukk it and find a good paying cash job and collect unemployement/ebt/watever

Deliver pizza until you find something better. Try to go to the suburbs. With NFL playoffs/superbowl season you should get some decent tips if you work in the right area. See if you can find something that pays under the table as well while you're collecting your unemployment. Since you're unemployed, you should be eligible for financial aid so you can go back to school while you do all that.

make adjustments to your lifestyle. figure out how much living would cost if going back to school, if finding a new job, if hustling. make a budget for each scenario. figure out which one of these options would lead you to happiness. still apply for unemployment just in case. grind/hustle hard and smart.

IF YOU GET A JOB OFFER YOU'LL HAVE TO QUIT SCHOOL IF YOU CAN'T DO BOTH. TALK TO SOMEBODY AT THE OFFICE TO GET CLEARANCE TO GO TO SCHOOL. THE PROCESS IS A LIL DIFFERENT IF YOU DO THAT. DO NOT LET THEM FIND OUT YOU'VE BEEN COLLECTING WHILE IN SCHOOL WITHOUT APPROVAL. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR UP TO 3 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF BENEFITS YOU COLLECTED AND POSSIBLE JAIL TIME.
