Hum, you may be right :leon:

:shaq2:
Do my point still holds ?

:lolbron:

Anyway, I meant that seeing some of you work available for free, although you want them to be sold could be kinda... irritating for them.
Piracy may help artists, but soundcloud + Juno/Itunes/Beatport/Whatever help them more IMO.

:heh: I feel where you're coming from anyway... I'd be mad too... I'm just on the other side of the fence so it's like fukk em :pachaha:

This Anti Piracy shyt got me so Anti Hollywood and entertainment industry, Haven't spent a penny on movies, music or games in the past 3 years or so. except for going to the movies until a couple months ago I noticed it's so easy to sneak in for free, don't mind paying for the pop corn and coke but I ain't paying money anymore for a Pro Israeli mass murdering industy, a Pro homosexual and demonic shyt.

Hell I don't even pay for cable but I still got all channels, I'd rather keep that money for Nuru massages and fine dining, fukk your entertainment industry, they can suck my dikk.

This is the same shyt people said a few years ago with the FBI shutting down all the music sites... The same thing people said earlier this year when MegaUpload and similar sites got shut down. This is the same thing people said when SOPA and PIPA popped offed...

Look around... ain't shyt changed but the domain name.
when Megaupload was alive and well it was feasting season. any fool could go on Google in seconds and find any movie, any album and have in on their PC in less than a minute. now those search strings lead you to dead links and defunct sites.

most of the file upload services that were worth a damn closed their doors. hell Mediafire through Google and Filestube were glorious.

i bet people still feast all the time but the attitude now is i found this shyt and i'm not sharing it you're on your own. that attitude is more dangerous to internet piracy than any of these companies because once you get everyone out on an island and you bust up their little sites nobody really has anywhere else left to go.

if i were in that business i'd want file sharers having that this is my site find your own attitude.

They had me lost when they crushed Megaupload. NZBMatrix was the shyt, I refuse to give in to this bullshyt.

Where there's a will, there is a way.

6 strikes is just another scare tactic. Nothing more.
6 strikes is borderline them policing internet content at the ISP level.

usenet? paying for pirated stuff? :scusthov:

torrents and http hosting = :eat: good forever :lawd:
fukk a torrent. you basically gotta pay to mask your identity to download from those and hope that whoever you're paying doesn't keep any records that can trace back to you.

as for the usenet they're on to that and getting content taken down from most of the host. so you pay Astraweb or whoever and at that level they block and destroy files so you can't assemble the shyt back together. if they're smart enough to have gotten that far and busted up the major indexing sites who's to say they can't do everything you can do like use binary search or whatever to find the content and get it removed too?

the day they created companies that only exist to police content online and find out how its being downloaded and stop it was the day mainstream piracy got a fatal wound.

like i said piracy will never go away but in order to survive its gonna have to go underground to a dark age that defeats the purpose of file sharing. in the file sharing world the more people sharing the faster the downloads and the more content is shared.

What's 6 strikes?
6 strikes is companies exist to monitor intellectual property online and if they catch you doing it they notify your ISP (who right now offers you protection from outside parties by requiring a court order to turn your IP address into a name) will give you up to them especially if you're a repeat offender.

anything past 3 strikes and the ISP at their level can start fukking with your internet. slowing your speeds. blocking you from sites.

N!ggas jumping off the cliff now. This is way overblown. They have been shutting down sites for years. Hell they have been shutting down PirateBay for forever now but they still keep popping up. Torrent sites are everywhere. I just don't get the panic. There will always be a counter balance. You have to expect that. This panic is ridiculous though.

@winb83 talk to me in Dec 2013 after "6 Strikes" has gone into effect. If the game is done I'll send you the console of your choice. The new Xbox or Playstation should be out or close to being out by then.

I totally missed the boat on MegaUpload. I didn't realize how important it was until it was too late. :to:

Piracy isnt going anywhere but 6 strikes is about to shutdown the game :whoo:

that shyt aint gon change nothin tho...it's no different than the letters and notices people get from providers for copyright infringement now, just if you get a certain amount of em they can slow your internet down or cap it or cut it off or turn you over to the folks if they wanna

but if you been getting letters and notices you aint bout that life anyway, if you aint had a problem with it then there's nothing to worry about
