I think that next time we hear him, his delivery will be "different". I thought his album was aite, but it was poorly received and the Ghost dis was a major blow to his cred

For better or worse, he'll be fine. The hipster fans won't care. I can't really listen to his music the same. If he drops anything produced by Alchemist or Oh No or any other producers I like, I'll probably listen, but then again I think he usually picks bad beats from even producers that I enjoy.

I know he's touring right now, or just got done. So I'm sure he's still making money and doing well. His "debut" album flopped at least by reviews, I don't know how it did numbers wise, but I'm sure VICE will give him at least another album. We'll see. How his next project sounds and/or is received will say a lot.

He had a project out last year? But I really don't know. Haven't heard much since.

He dropped a very average "debut album" this past spring. I keep saying debut album in quotes because he dropped so many mixtapes and EPs with original production that it didn't feel like a debut album. It had a few joints on it. And by a few, I mean a few. The rest was pretty average. There was sort of a theme to the album, I guess? But it was unfocused and not very clear.

I thought that wake up in the bread aisle was his first official album?

No hate for dood, just he went from I Love College to nothing quick.

What the fukk happened to that dude he actually was nice :why:
The only Asher Roth project I fukked with was Rawth (produced by and featuring Nottz) and that's because I like Nottz both as a producer and a rapper.

But other than that I honestly never listened to much of him. I can't think of any other joints he did besides that I Love College song.

I don't know if anyone here knows The Away Team (Sean Boog and Khrysis from The Justus League/Jamla in North Carolina) but Sean Boog is a white dude and about 10 years ago someone suggested he start doing "frat rap" shyt before it became a sub-genre and he got mad about that.

Seems like that Lil dikky dude is the new "frat rap" guy. It seems like there's always one that comes out, goes away, and get replaced by another.

I agree. He did have some hype and went away fast. I knew he had a mixtape too where he rapped over all these famous beats from Dilla, Madlib, 9th, Just, Kanye, RZA, Jake One, Pharrell, the list goes on. If they were original beats I would've checked it out.
