You’re making excuses bringing up the teams Kevin played like he didn’t shyt the bed with his best chance. We all saw how he closed that GS series

GS WAS THE BETTER TEAM PERIOD.

OKC HAD TERRIBLE ROSTER CONSTRUCTION
:mjlol:PLAYING WESTBROOK, ROBERSON, IBAKA AND ADAMS
AT THE SAME TIME IN 2016.
THERES TEAMS IN THE 90S WITH
BETTER SPACING THEN THIS.

ALL GS DID WAS START SENDING HELP
AND PACKING THE PAINT.

On draft night 1980 the Celtics traded the draft rights to Joe Barry Carroll for Robert Parish and the draft rights to Kevin McHale

There’s your answer
This is how the Cs and Lakers ran the 80s. Some of these other squads were just incompetent. They literally had to put in rules to protect people from their own incompetence and yet modern teams still trying to top that shyt :mjlol:

Shai's one year with Chris Paul in OKC was the best thing that happened to his career
You can talk about Chris Paul all you want. But you cant deny the impact he has on teams. He def make his teammates better. I thought Booker and Harden looked their best playing next to Chris Paul.

My Pops Forever RIP
That infamous Boston/Nets trade is hands down the worst trade of all time and it isn't close but this isn't that far behind at this point. And they only made it because Kawhi and his uncle essentially forced their hands. They're extremely fortunate because it could be even worse than it currently is but getting Harden has managed to lessen the damage.

2nd worst is unquestionably OKC trading Harden for peanuts which directly cost them a dynasty.
That Thunder team was never winning a title.
