2006 to 2010 was some rough years
Rap is starting to resemble the era I grew up in (98-2004) again. Lyricism is back. The dance songs are gone. Some of the music is poobutt soft compared to the music we used to listen to but, its dope regardless. Today I was listening to Drake and Kendrick....really listening. These two kids gonna keep this shyt afloat for the next 10 years
I know nikkas on the Coli don't like Drake but, everybody I know in the real world does
These two really have the talent to be the next Nas and Jay

Only
nikkas think otherwise.
no it's not, it does not resemble anything from 98-04.

if you don't like the mainstream, there's plenty of underground rappers providing heat
And with Drake,Cole, and Kendrick leading the new school for mainstream, the shyt is as good as its been in years. Hip hop isn't at its peak but it's been awhile since it's been this good.
