So is “Hotep” now code for Black “Alt right” type cats?

So initially the term was used for Sa Neter TV type cats.

Then people used it for cats like Tariq or even Umar Johnson (ironically Tariq is the one who coined the “dusty hotep”).

And now it looks like black people who suscribe to American right wing ideals are calling themselves hotep.

Can someone expound?

:whoa:, hold on now

The NOI on the political spectrum is right wing...

Just like the Black Panther Party is left wing

I mean the NOI had a positive relationship with the Neo-Nazis of the 60s....since rightwingers of all stripes tend to stick together.

Even had the Neo Nazi leader speak to their congregation....

Huey P. Newton wouldn't have allowed that shyt...

When Malcolm X Met the Nazis

On Sunday, June 25, 1961, ten members of the American Nazi Party arrived at a Nation of Islam rally in Washington, DC. The party's founder, George Lincoln Rockwell, led them inside the Uline Arena, a quarter-million-square-foot stadium that would later host the Beatles' first US concert. Ramrod-straight, square-jawed, and with a merciless, piercing gaze, Rockwell looked like a Hollywood villain straight out of central casting. ("How much taller he is than Hitler," Esquire noted in an otherwise withering essay. "And how much better-looking.") The Uline had nearly sold out. The Nazis were outnumbered 800 to one.

The fascists hadn't come to make a bloody last stand. Instead, guards from the Fruit of Islam, the NOI's paramilitary branch, frisked the men and ushered them to front-row-center seats. Their crisp brownshirt costumes and swastika armbands stood out against the suits and ties surrounding them. Despite the 90-degree heat, Rockwell and his men waited hours for the event's main attraction. There is no record of anyone cracking a smile at the situation's absurdity.

The night's keynote speaker, NOI leader Elijah Muhammad, canceled his appearance because of illness. According to historian William Schmaltz, Malcolm X delivered a speech, followed by an appeal for donations that singled out the few Caucasians in the audience. Rockwell contributed $20. When Lifephotographer Eve Arnold raised her camera to capture the Nazis, Rockwell—presumably alerted to her Jewish ancestry by the Muslims—allegedly rasped, "I'll make a bar of soap out of you." (She replied, "As long as it isn't a lampshade.")

Division of the races was another mutual bugbear. Malcolm X's speech that night was titled "Separation or Death." Inside the arena, Rockwell told reporters, "I am fully in concert with their program, and I have the highest respect for Elijah Muhammad." The question of where to send America's blacks—the NOI wanted a chunk of the US, while the ANP wanted a full deportation to Africa—was, he said, his only quarrel with the Muslims.

I got kicked out the Hotep twitter club cuz I refused to retweet an article in support of the alt right.

Then their leader blocked me :mjlol:

They're a group of clowns, nikkas use $F lingo like "Nig Nog" to describe ANY Black person not even just the liberals because it makes them feel superior to other Black people.

More than a few nikkas stopped fukking with them cuz they went from right leaning Blacks (which I am) to super saiyan c00ns.

nikkas had white wives and mixed kids in the cut too :mjpls:

They're a weird group of people.

The 2 most prominent Twitter Hoteps (Hotep Jesus/VibeHi & @Uncle Hotep) are basically red-pilled black Conservatives. I don't look at them as the same as your traditional conscious community hotepa.

my thing is they'd achieve more financial success with simply being up front. They could legit link up with all the other black people who are on that wave and not have to piggy back white organizations. the "Hotep" thing is too small, and the other red pill blacks tagging along with white people make them look like tokens (which they may be/are) which makes nobody take them serious and they look like a parody.

I`m not legitimizing what they believe in, I'm just stating they all look like they are hustling backwards.

The Twitter hoteps trying to align with the Alt-Right was definitely a misstep. Pro-blacks, black conservatives/republicans, & red-pilled black men don't fukk with the Alt-Right. So I don't understand what black audience they were trying to reach with that. They were trying to pander to right-wing cacs with that.

I was actually going to make a thread about this. The word hotep is an intentionally ambiguous dog-whistle term that is used to signify that a black person (likely, a black heterosexual male) does not exactly conform to intersectional/black feminist politics and, therefore, their opinions/world view can be summarily dismissed.

That posted Root article’s definition of hotep being a prime example. Most of the hotep slander be from those “New Black” types frfr. Just keeping it a hunnit :yeshrug:
