Lucci's problem is he never evolved his sound and Lil Baby & Gunna took that lane because they're more interesting and more diverse.

He's had some recent hot songs like "All Night Long" featuring Trey Songz last year and "Wet" currently. But he's still an afterthought overall as an artist and the Reginae situation has soured his female fanbase on him. Those songs would be huge if given to other artists.

Lucci was never a superstar I dont think he was ever going to be.

He has a niche fanbase and solid little following (ratchets and hood nikkas in the south/midwest love him). Hes had a couple of radio hits and solid mixtapes so dude is probably comfortable just getting 25-30k a show and 5,000-10,000 for a feature.

Rich homie 2.0

Ironic thing is they were labelmates. The label (T.I.G.) just hasn't been able to sustain any artist past a year with Trinidad James, Rich Homie Quan and Lucci.

And we can't ignore that the whole Lucci vs. Young Thug beef has been a terrible look for Lucci with all the shootings and disrespect.

Lil baby took all his momentum

Not in the same lane. Future,Gunna and Thug are Lil Babys contemporaries.

He has a few club bangers but YFN Lucci is in that trap blues/hood melody wave. Rich Homie,NBA Youngboy,Quando Rondo,Derez Deshon,No Cap etc...their music has more of a substance/reality point of view than the rest.
