Of course. NYC needs to fire all of their on air radio personalities. Its pretty much a bunch of dusty dudes holding on to that "we was kings" BS that is holding nyc back. In all other cities DJs are far more humble in promoting the culture because they had to deal with NY DJs being a holes. NY djS love blaming everyone else for hip hop struggling when its NYC djs who sold the culture
out to white record labels.

Man.... I don't think NY is being held back at all. The radio DJs bring that up, because people seem to be fascinated with the whole "bring New York back" topic. But there's a bunch of NY artists bubbling now, because they no longer have to rely on the radio DJs being their gatekeepers.
The name of the game for radio people is to figure out ways to stay relevant. That's the one thing that the NYC on air people are good at, because they are good with networking & relationships. But it's pretty transparent and fake imo. They are quick to jump on the new wave, which makes it harder to get them out of the paint. For example, I'm a huge battle rap fan. Now Flex is bringing some of the battle rappers on his platform to do freestyles. So although I think Flex is extremely corny, he jumped on a wave that I'm a big fan of. So I have to give him some sort of credit for giving more light to something I enjoy. But on the flipside, there's no real reason for Funk Flex to have a beef with Drake. And a 48 year old man shouldn't be attempting to dictate what is hot in hip-hop, and what isn't.

I was just trying to inform you. You said NY'ers should feel embarrassed. But I just don't understand why I should be embarrassed about what some overly emotional internet nygga says about NYC. What is there to be embarrassed about really? There are plenty of young women who identify with Young MA in NYC.
You weren't informing me of anything. You were just being sassy and passive aggressive because you didn't like what I said, ironically proving my point. I know a lot of black girls in ny identify with young ma. The dyke shot is waaaaaay out of control in ny amongst the black female youth. So is femininity/bytchassness amongst the young black males. That's my point. The whole dyke-effeminate make wave is a bad look and real cats who know better should be embarrassed. You're defending the shot because you probably for the description. Some overweight sissy looking type dude with skinny jeans and smedium t-shirt with your gut and ass out:scust:

I'm sure I could find some stuff that I don't like about some rapper from whatever part of bumblefukk you reside in. But I can't tell you about bumblefukk, or what people from bumblefukk should look or sound like, cause I'm not there. You weirdos need to stop worrying about NYC.
The thing is tho, ny cats try to sound like the bumblefukk dudes now and this been like this for over a decade going on 2:heh: fukk you think you're talking to? It's got so bad that cats are making songs in disgust of by doing so much down south dikkriding.

I get repping your city and all that but that keep that shyt in perspective. A nypd cop will come and blow your gotdamn head off and the city won't do shyt but give him a paid vacation. You jus love there.

Yea its wait and see on her tho she should have dropped a project while ooooh was hot, now her buzz is dying down and its only so many freestyles you can do over classic NY beats before people stop checking.

I dont even know if she has the ability to make another hit, much less a full project of her own music no freestyles or "remixes" of other hits, which is vital to have longtern success.
