NY stay taking L's. Let a dyke be your hope to get you out of mediocrity in the rap game brehs.
Desiigner has released two singles so far, and both have gone platinum.
He hasn't fallen off by any means either.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
No one cares about female rappers unless she's a hypersexualized bimbo that white people like (since they're the ones buying the music)

Nicki Minaj had to inject her butt with dangerous foreign objects just to get people to notice her. Next popular female rapper has to look like a fukking alien. Or be a tranny.
This. If men don't wanna fukk and women don't wanna be you, you finished

Ain't no more latifahs. Even da brat ended up slutting it up towards the end

I can't get over her treating fans like shyt and not performing when you were paid to do so. You need all the poisitivity you can get. Sometimes people fukk with you out of loyalty and good vibes more than your art and she kinda ruined that for some people.

No one goes to their shows LIKE THAT however, and they be lied to on a daily basis. I was :snoop: when I read that Rapsody joined ROC Nation, damn did 9th Wonder not teach her anything????

Most of these new come up females have nothing distinctive about them either, but they act like their influences aren't obvious. Lost count on how many lackluster mixtapes I heard these "Next new bytches" dropped.

:scust:

Even worse when they can't switch up their style either, or "genuinely" suck at collaborating. Also, would it kill them to be feminine on occasion?
I'm totally looking forward to a feminine female rapper who's not thugged or hyper sexual with her versus are looks. Hopefully, she's petite too so she can represent for the slimmies like me lol

Isn't Latifah lesbian herself?

:ohhh:

:mjlol: Coli keeps on moving those goal posts like Hollywood sets. To me, if Latifah was truly about "U.N.I.T.Y." she would've promoted some females under her wing and give them game. Most of these female OG's are hypocrites, they ain't doing shyt to keep this generation alive and popping either.
I thought MC Lyte set the standard for females to not have ghostwriters, until I read this and was so disappointed.

I'm glad Lord Jamar cleared up the ghostwriting/ghostproducing thing

Truth Behind The Industry: An Inside Look At Songwriting In Hip Hop With Smitty | KevinNottingham.com

Lyte had that "10% Dis" at Antoinette for Rakim ghostwriting for her, yet she had LL write her "Destruction" verse, Smitty and now Puba, along with God knows who else?
Wouldn't surprise if Young M.A. had one, the way she writes reminds me of someone in Brooklyn, I can't think of who. Anyways, I've gathered that the females who were never versatile, or could have variety of a style they mastered - were the most likely suspect to have ghostwriters. That's evident when you could hear how many times:

- They normally don't switch their cadences, and when they do, it flows like the guy who wrote it.

- Using deliveries that aren't theirs, questionable vocal inflections (from rappers who constantly have given them reference guides, etc.)

- Rhyme schemes (positioning, "borrowing" certain techniques, complexity, etc.)

- Slang (dead give away, unless used by females in their own way)

- Subject matter is way outside their range of topics they're inclined to make songs about.

- All of a sudden, they have a Thesaurus level vocabulary when they never had one.

Really, this list can go on, but these are those
"bytch please....:camby:" indicators.

Well, there's NoName and Rapsody, other than that I'd rather have a woman embrace her sexuality and not be politically correct acting like Rap is a place for nuns.
Seriously, shyt is unreal most women bash female rappers for being themselves, but on the weekends?

Let's go digging for lost treasures in these nikkas's pockets! :ohlawd::damn:"

I'm not a rapper so I can only imagine it's hard to make something to rap about. It's either thot rap, being scadoulous towards a breh, or bytches hating on ya.

But the women from my city always talking about guns and they be having so much bass in their voices and just ugh.

But that's exactly what they did and for the same reason too.
Times were different and they got it off.
They weren't looking as strong and start giving super inflated props. Illmatic's 1994 impact was probably less than the ouuu song in 2016.
