I'm not a rapper so I can only imagine it's hard to make something to rap about. It's either thot rap, being scadoulous towards a breh, or bytches hating on ya.

But the women from my city always talking about guns and they be having so much bass in their voices and just ugh.

I've always found it disturbing how women complain about the state of females in Rap, but as each decade goes by they don't even try to hit each other up - much less collaborate. When you combine that with Trump's rhetoric, I'm :mindblown: at how they overall do NOTHING to come together and support each other. shyt is really depressing at the end of the day, then again most ain't aspiring to be bosses either.
Some women live comfortably under another's man's thumb.

Those award and tribute shows are setting new lows, for deep sea level "keeping up appearances".
:sas2:

If they don't do anything by the end of this decade, might as well call it quits.

I agree.
At this point most female rappers sound like nursery rhymes.

Isn't Latifah lesbian herself?

:ohhh:

:mjlol: Coli keeps on moving those goal posts like Hollywood sets. To me, if Latifah was truly about "U.N.I.T.Y." she would've promoted some females under her wing and give them game. Most of these female OG's are hypocrites, they ain't doing shyt to keep this generation alive and popping either.
I thought MC Lyte set the standard for females to not have ghostwriters, until I read this and was so disappointed.

I'm glad Lord Jamar cleared up the ghostwriting/ghostproducing thing

Truth Behind The Industry: An Inside Look At Songwriting In Hip Hop With Smitty | KevinNottingham.com

Lyte had that "10% Dis" at Antoinette for Rakim ghostwriting for her, yet she had LL write her "Destruction" verse, Smitty and now Puba, along with God knows who else?
Wouldn't surprise if Young M.A. had one, the way she writes reminds me of someone in Brooklyn, I can't think of who. Anyways, I've gathered that the females who were never versatile, or could have variety of a style they mastered - were the most likely suspect to have ghostwriters. That's evident when you could hear how many times:

- They normally don't switch their cadences, and when they do, it flows like the guy who wrote it.

- Using deliveries that aren't theirs, questionable vocal inflections (from rappers who constantly have given them reference guides, etc.)

- Rhyme schemes (positioning, "borrowing" certain techniques, complexity, etc.)

- Slang (dead give away, unless used by females in their own way)

- Subject matter is way outside their range of topics they're inclined to make songs about.

- All of a sudden, they have a Thesaurus level vocabulary when they never had one.

Really, this list can go on, but these are those
"bytch please....:camby:" indicators.
Yea latifah was. And I'm not talking about her impact on the industry. I'm saying she was the last female who was successful, who didn't have to look good and slut it up

Missy was no looker. But she was talking raunchy as fukk and later would slim down and sexy it up too. But if you wanted to, you could put her as the last one

Other than that, you gonna be underground or out of here.

The reason for what you talking about is the hustle. As a man, and a successful rapper.... they should know 150k sexy ass women

But how many you know gonna write and deliver raps as dope as other men? And be attractive? Little to none

So what you do is find a model looking chick and provide the rest. People go crazy seeing a chick do "men" things

Give these same "I'm in the streets more than sesame" ass raps to some nikka, and nobody would care. He'd be just another nikka rapping with avg bars.

Give it to MA and it's oh shyt it's a girl

But if they gave it to Bria Myles and she spit them. Maaaaaaaaaan she'd have done triple the buzz cause she'd be fine enough to do covers, and photo shoots and model clothes and makeup and shyt

Young MA can't do 10% of the type of endorsements a Nicki can do, cause the general public ain't gonna see her as beautiful enough to pull it off

What is crazy is how quickly Iggy, Azealia, Lola Monroe (King Los's woman) etc. blew up and then crashed like the Stock Market :russ:

Man, that was a new precedent for failure, never seen careers for women die so fast. That goes to show you these chicks can't be only having tapes for discographies.
They be half-assing mixtapes way too much, the standards were different in the last decade. Slacking is an all-time high with them, but whatever vote for Hillary brehettes
:pachaha:

NoName ain't even trying to make it, Rapsody signing to Roc was the worst decision she could ever make, etc.
:stopitslime:
What happened to females with common sense and who knew how the industry worked? :ohhh:

Lets be real, when a song gets that big ,its hard to elevate from that. It was easily one of the top 5 hip hop songs in 2016 not affiliated with Drake. But she's still dope so she can stick around with the right plays

She should've never been on. The bull dyke acting like a nikka gimmick is the wave she's gonna ride to riches and/or stardom.

Fixed.

She's a star now, plus she gay?
She don't gotta rap no mo'.

She'll be on a TV or radio show by the end of the year. Book it.

Basically recreated the Shmurda record and blew. It wasn't going to last. You need to have a hot mixtape to make this shyt work and she didn't. I don't even know the name of it, no one does. Maybe she didn't even drop one.

Freestyles won't save you.

how u hoe nikkas never make a thread about Ma music but make threads about her fall off?

That means U fukk nikkas don't even care about a new artist but ya care to see em fail lmfao what is wrong with u nikkas??~~€€€€€€€€~~~~~~?????????

NEW YORK CITY
I kinda see where you're coming from, so let me put you up on something.
It's the NY DJ's & on air personalities that do that stupid shyt, giving these artists titles, and talking about "bringing NY back/restoring the feeling". Not the fans. The kids who listen to these new artists don't seem to care about this "bringing NY back" gibberish that hip-hop media personalities love to spout.

Absolutely correct

these new millenial nikkas couldnt careless

Ironically that might be part of the problem:ohhh:
