So not seeing this often = me being new?

:what: nikka shut up and post examples if this is so common

Doesn't need too

Just realize every single artist from every single genre does this. There so many signed people to labels who you will never hear of because they don't possess "star quality",but best believe they are part of the biggest hits or albums you hear. Whether it's beats or lyrics, it happens. And if you end up paying your dues and doing well they may give you a shot. Kanye west ghost produced for puff daddy's no way out. Think about how long ago that was. He didn't just run into jay z and start making blueprint

It's a business. Just enjoy the music.

One clear example is on French Montana last album. Chicago rapper/singer "Johnny May Cash" made a street anthem called "Shoot 'Em Down" and then several months later French decides he wants it on his album so he steals the entire song, adds a verse, and renames it "Paranoid".

Original

Album Cut

What's even funnier is that the remix (which didn't make the album)got more views than both of them combined

That's dirty how my man's don't even get a cameo in the video though
