he didnt have a great Finals last year, but neither did Steph. he legit for sho. he not Derozen, Butler, or PG13 status but just slightly below. he has suffered most from addition of KD. if the Spurs had him in Danny Green's role, they'd be tough to beat in WCF. he is basically Green on steroids.

Klay is a great secondary player, we don't know if he can lead a franchise yet. But if he's your 2nd or 3rd best player you're a title contender

Defense has to account for klay every minute he is on the floor regardless if he is having a low scoring game because if he goes off it signals a blow out instead of a regular win.

The whole team besides KD are equel parts to the whole scheme of the team. Take him away his pts might go up but he still needs a 1st option penetrator to work off. I think he smart enough to know that but he got them psycho eyes so who knows
