the ether
Numbers dont always tell the story with lebron
He's a master of stat padding
I've seen him get a triple double and still play like shyt
I'm pretty sure he does this so ppl who didn't watch the game or just skimmed through the box score can say "oh look at Lebrons stats, it's not his fault"

The Orlando series isn't the best series he ever played lol although I don't think he choked. Boston series game 5 and 6 he choked, I don't care what the Stats say. That cavs squad could of beat Boston

27 points
19 rebounds
10 assists
3 steals
1 block

I still want to know what magical ability allows one to "stat pad" all of those things.

He didn't shoot great to get his 27 points. But don't the critics always say that at least the high shot volume shows that he was trying? :yeshrug:

And how the HELL do you stat-pad to 19 rebounds? :ohhh: No 6'8" player in the last 20 years could get 19 boards in an elimination game without playing hard.

Gets 10 assists when his teammates only made 20 field goals TOTAL? Six of his assists were on layups, 2 more were on Anthony Parker's two threes (the only two shots he made all game). He was getting Mo layups left and right and Mo is 6'1". How is Lebron setting up so many easy shots for his teammates without trying if his teammates otherwise couldn't score worth shyt the whole game? If you claim Lebron was ball-dominant...then again, how are you ball dominant without trying?

And 3 steals and a block. How do you do that without at least trying some on defense?

Not to mention that Pierce only managed 13-5-3 on 4-13 shooting for the game....getting shut down by Lebron like he had EVERY game of the series, except for Game 5 when Brown put Lebron on Rondo for the entire first half instead (just to see Lebron hold Rondo scoreless while Pierce went off for 21-11-7).

Lebron held Pierce to 12ppg on 32% shooting for the 5 games LBJ guarded him in the series. He was 13ppg on 34% shooting for the series as a whole.

PP averaged 20ppg on 46% shooting against Miami (guarded by Q).
PP averaged 24ppg on 51% shooting against Orlando (guarded by Carter).
PP averaged 18ppg on 44% shooting against LA (guarded by MWP/Kobe).

This is what I don't get about the series. Lebron played fantastic defense, worked hard to create shots and get boards when his shot wasn't falling, still averaged 28ppg even though he couldn't make a shot...and he gets accused of not trying?

He played ONE really bad game when Brown put him on Rondo and he shut Rondo down while the whole rest of his team let everyone else go off. Rondo has 0 points and 2 turnovers in Game 5 when Lebron guarded him in the 1st half....then when Brown pulled Bron in the 2nd half (because PP and everyone else were going off), Rondo exploded for 16 points and 0 turnovers in the 2nd. People have different explanations for why Lebron played such a bad game...I think it was just him feeling "I'm running my ass off shutting down their point guard, and we still don't have a prayer because no one on this team can score on their own or stop anyone on their team" and a resultant combination of fatigue and discouragement.

* Mo Williams and Anthony Parker didn't have a prayer of guarding Rondo (21-6-12 on 54% shooting for the series) and Ray (16ppg on 43% shooting).

* Jamison couldn't make a shot to save his life and got just dominated by Garnett (18-8-2 on 52% shooting for the series).

* Shaq was so old and fat he (13-5 and 1 block on 52% shooting) was almost neutralized by Kendrick Perkins (7-7 and 2.3 blocks on 64% shooting)

The Boston bench (Tony Allen, Rasheed Wallace, and Glen Davis) was better than the Cavs (Delonte West, Varejao, and J.J. Hickson).

The Boston coaching (Doc Rivers) was FAR superior to the Cavs (Mike Brown).

Basically, you're saying that a series where the Cavs had MASSIVE disadvantages at Coach, Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Power Forward, and Bench should have been won because 25-year-old Lebron single-handedly was THAT much better than the Paul Pierce who nearly won Finals MVP that year. Right.

Well fukking said man. This shyt right here needs to dead all that bull shyt that Lebron quit on the team vs the Celtics.

This idiots forget that the Celtics had 4 good players to the cavs one player. Every time Lebron guarded pierce....rondo went off. If Lebron guarded rondo....pierce went off. Then let's not forget Garnett and Allen being unguardable.
