The racism with voter ID comes when the DMVs in certain areas suddenly get shutdown, making people go further to get ID, but most people have an ID.
Liberal/Democrat is just two differing opinions on how white supremacy should be enforced..

This issue here is that they are asking uneducated college kids on their thoughts on "Voting id laws" (emphasis on the quotes) and given its a right wing slanted situation, most likely didn't include anyone who was going to give them an answer to debunk the bullshyt they are trying to pull.
"Voting ID laws" aren't racist because "blacks are too dumb to get ID's" or whatever shyt they try to sell you. The reason they are racist are because they are constructed in a way with other aspects of the laws with the express purpose to target specific racial groups for a political advantage. Here are some examples and the effects:
- North Dakota passed a law that required voters in addition to having an ID have a "valid residential address". At first glance, like with a lot these things, this seems like "common sense" but in North Dakota specifically, it is known that many Native Americans don't have a valid residential address due to the way reservations are laid out. It's very common to use a PO box to receive mail and pick it up from the mail station. This was a targeted strategy to reduce the ability of Native Americans to vote and it actually led to the Democrat being defeated by the Republican this past midterm

-In Wisconsin, study has shown that, as intended, the most impacted group by voting ID law changes were blacks
Wisconsin Strict ID Law Discouraged Voters, Study Finds . 21% of registered black voters who made under 25k were discouraged from voting in 2016. Keep in mind that this is a state Trump won by 22k.
-In Alabama, before one of their previous governors was thrown out for an extra-marital affair, not only did he sign a new voter id law, but then immediately looked to closed DMV offices in black districts across the state in order to make the process for black people to get a valid ID more difficult.

They were forced to reverse this after the Obama Justice Department probed into how this disproportinately affected black countries and called them out on it.
