So is/was Watchdogs any good?

Pouring Jelly on ya self playing watch dogs. I got it from gamefly to and literally played up to the same poiny you did. Put it down and realized I have no interest in playing this game, the horrible reveiws, the ubisoft name, and me generally not being the biggest fan of open world games solidified it's return for me.

I ended up playing it too late. Too grey for me, even when the sun was out.
GTA 5 took a massive shyt on this game, twice.

it was an ok game. I actually finished it, which is more than I can say for a lot of games

I actually liked the driving and hacking. online hacking was a lot of fun

it's funny that people call it "unoriginal", and then complain you can't shoot from cars (like every other game)

If Rockstar added a hacking mini game to GTA V...then GTA V would be a better open world hacking game than Watchdogs...

I enjoyed it for a few weeks...then I fukked up and started playing GTA V again and could never go back to Watchdogs...

The driving alone is just atrocious...

I installed it last week in my pc. I thought it would be really bad as people were saying but it's a decent game.
That driving mechanic is worse than GTA San Andreas though It feels like you're playing road rash or some shyt from the 90's.
But the graphics, and the city ambience is pretty cool.

Driving and shyt mechanics suck. how the fukk can we carry pistols but not allowed to shoot back from a car meanwhile we getting blasted up no problem and your FORCED to use that damn phone to set traps!

I like the game but the driving mechanics were awful. I didn't like that you couldn't shoot while driving but once I got the timing down on setting the road blocks and seeing the cop cars flipped... "it moved" - George Costanza LOL! Hopefully, they'll come up with a clever way of using hacking and shooting while driving for the sequel.

I was mad disappointed at first but after a couple of days I was hooked. Once you improve your driving skills and get access to better cars the handling isn't quite as bad. It ended up being one of my favorite games that came out this year.

Might hit PS+ this year. I'll play it then. Dudes got too hyped up only to get disappointed, but Ubisoft did fukk up.

I'll play it when it's a free PS+ title (likely) this upcoming summer or early next fall.

I don't know how people who were disappointed got taken by this.
Writing was on the wall months before release if you wanted to read it.

I like it........until I beat the story mode. then I realize the side missions ain't worth a damn. (Serial killer one was interesting, but even that ending was anti climactic)

Game is not as bad as some people are saying tho. you'll find some enjoyment in it. just don't expect to play it too much after you beat it.
