So is ya'll niccas up on Fate/Zero?

I skipped through fighting scenes and only watched ending in full, didnt feel like I missed anything important plus the plot was fukking unbearable 
The fights are amazing but the storyline is a jumbled mess and I seriously don't even remember what happened at the end b/c it just didnt make any sense. Gilgamesh is a G though and talks major shyt. When he called Alexander and Berserker mongrels I damn near hit the floorall this shyt u just said makes me not wanna continue watching this shyt(watched the first ep earlier) plus my dude @Monoblock is usually in the same mindset as me when it comes to this anime shyt

Well keep in mind its a magic girl show. Its nowhere near as dark as Fate Zero or Stay Night That fight is the best part of the show and maybe the last battle but overall i liked it. Its also getting a second season.
The only magic girl show most people here would probably like is Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Nah you wilding. This aint even in my top 20 animes. Yall letting the animation and eyegasms hoist this up and put it on a pedestal it doesn't deserve to be on. This is my first time ever even hearing anyone call this anime classic. Cats feel that when they find something new that a lot of people might not know about and automatically start throwing the word "classic" around. This shyt is cool little story and damn good fights, there was even a thread about it either last year but where people were pretty much liked this nothing more nothing less. Now this thread pops up and nikkas yelling classic. Hey man its just my opinion after all. I've rewatched the entirety of cowboy bebop multiple times, champloo (which I personally think is great but no classic), TTGL, Baccano, Steins...I seen per much all the hyped and heralded animes and Fate/Zero still floored me multiple times.
So many dope moments in that anime. dozens

I felt bebop already pulled off the epic episodic shtick much better even tho champloo is exceedingly dope.
Fate Zero is an elite anime. I'm not saying its the best but its one of the better ones ever made. The visuals, the fights, the story, the characters, the philosophy debated in it, is all top notch. If you're lucky you'll get a few animes of this quality in a given decade.

problem is Fate Zero isn't above average "godly" its an actual good anime on its own. there's gonna be people you can show the best stuff ever made to and they'll be like "meh."
You can pick any aspect of Fate Zero and its better than at least 80% of anime. Fate Zero has a great cast, excellent animation, a great villain and solid antagonist. even amongst the heroes the morality clashes and philosophy clashes they have are interesting. its not the best anime I've ever seen but its a damn good one.
An anime that's above average "godly" is something like Code Geass which outside of its main character doesn't really offer much but people praise it anyway.

Calling it "Classic" is a bit of a stretch.
Honestly I have no idea why I'm trying to debate it. Just because I don't think it's classic material doesn't mean you shouldn't either. I'm not you.
Hell, I've almost gotten into fist fights over cats debating Urotsukidoji as "classic anime".
why isn't it elite? what disqualifies it from that? the ending? i've watched 100s of anime series and at this point the norm in anime is shytty endings. its compounded by the fact that probably 70% of all anime is based on light novels and manga that is ongoing at the time of animation and the source material has no ending. most of these series get one or two seasons and either a garbage anime original ending or conclude on a cliffhanger and leave the story unresolved.
Fate Zero is a prequel that serves it's purpose as such and in most respects far suppresses its sequel. it wasn't going to have a conclusive ending as a prequel.
as for the people calling it classic that's a joke. nothing that came out in 2012 can be classic in 2013-2014 because classic means that in 2022 people will look back at Fate Zero and still recognize it's quality.
