If you want to defend Nas, that's fine, but at least do your due diligence but that's clearly asking to much of a person who can't grasp why an abused person might stay in an abusive relationship without leaving. Would need to know the details/specifics of “did he hit me, yes, did I hit him back, yes”. My thought process has evolved over the years. I have always thought if you as a man raise your hands to women, you are flat out trash, and I still feel that way, but as I have gotten older and watched these toxic relationships unfold, I am not as quick to condemn folks flat out. If these two were grabbing at each other and struggling, drunk and high, during the course of intense arguing, it’s not the same as cold cocking your wife straight up. On everything, my wife and I have never had that shyt, I don’t understand it, so I can’t judge it, all I can say is that I wouldn’t want to live 1 second in that kind of relationship. Life is hard enough to be warring with the person that means the world to you.
