He should be good with the Patreon money. Joe should do Twitch and the pod at the same time.

The problem with relying on the Patreon money......Joe has to pay the whole network from that pot, the other pods are only doing 25K views (if that) and won't be making any money themselves.

He lost me during the last year of the Spotify deal. Every week was the same shyt with him ranting about these corporations and the creators getting their worth which is fine to talk about once in a while but I don’t want to hear that every episode.

It could just be me but Joe also started to come off as too good for hip hop and would rather spend ridiculous amounts of time talking about r&b artists that I don’t think a lot of people care about other than him. His music taste is horrible to me.

I also don’t think the pod benefited from doing two episodes a week. There isn’t enough to talk about and then you get two three hour long episodes with a tons of filler material.

I think he's thinking about the bag more than clout right now.

Not sure what the Paetron #'s looking like. As Shultz already said, "why you hiding the paetron #'s let it be public like we all do"

I think Joe really messed up this time and he's trying to keep everything under wraps as much as possible
Perhaps but wouldn’t the bag require a heavy YT and social media presence? If he was shunning YT but the Patreon numbers were public and good, I might agree with your argument. But he’s hiding everything…

My other theory is that he knows he needs new co-hosts and will get back to the heavy YT access when they’re revealed. You can have a successful pod with 3 black guys in their 40s. The older audience is gonna listen to Rogan and other stuff. You need some younger men. College age, young professionals, 30-something year olds etc.

Youtube has been getting worse over time because their terms of conditions uses bots the more popular you are the bots and over time the bots adjust and fight each other it’s a big reason why Joe Rogan left YouTube before the show would go on live from YouTube then there was this period where it didn’t but seemed edited. YouTube doesn’t even allow the the word sex watch enough videos you notice words not getting bleeped but actually not even dropped with some YouTubers not even making the mouth movement of the words. That’s before getting into demonetization, deplatforming, shadow gravity algorithms, and other fukkery with YouTube itself through Google.

It’s a wrap for ALL these podcasts.

99% of the are gossipy, talk about random bullshyt, and are mentally useless. They serve no real purpose. Non productive.

White people aren’t even trying to copy it.
It’s the same thing on every podcast. I don’t see how people can listen to them all honestly. I mostly listen to guest based pods more these days, and they have to be people that I care about. I’m just waiting to see what the next hustle will be because the podcast lane is about to be bled dry.

I don’t really care about his money I’m just speaking from a relevancy in the culture and enjoyment standpoint.

I don’t think Joe is podding with people that he doesn’t consider his friends.

The bag was lost when he left Spotify. I don’t think cohost have much to do with it anymore
I enjoy it weekly. I like ice and ish. But they probably won’t blow up the same way. Lowkey rory brought a lot of the current shyt to the pod, topics wise.

Joe says he literally don’t care about half the current topics, does care about music or anything.
Ignoring all the numbers talk, the biggest issue with the pod is Joe not willing to talk and give honest opinions about situations or putting any effort into informing himself about topics to discuss

Joe will be just fine. He'll ride out the wave.

Trust.

Joe understands the long haul and consistency.

You'll look up a year from now and a lot of these guys wont be where you thought they'd be. Joe will be RIGHT there.

man, shut the fukk up. :stopitslime:

you shat up the joe budden thread with all these corny-ass akademiks clips and tried to push that baseless narrative that nobody cares about rory and mal. you thought you had it all figured out and still think you do while joe's shyt keeps tanking both in numbers and relevancy. a complete misunderstanding of why that podcast was popular, expressed over and over again.

turns out people love genuine conversations with two levelheaded dudes that do not interrupt each other with screams and repetitive rants nobody gives a goddamn shyt about. guys like you who are only in it for the spectacle fukking lost :russ:

there is only one constant in joe's life, and that is fukking his own shyt up. happened with his rap career, happened with his private life, and now it's happening with his podcast. at some point ish and ice will be in the same situation as rory and mal, when it becomes clear that this shyt is work, and the employer is not ready to treat his people properly and instead chooses to cherrypick corny-ass facebook quotes to justify his shytty-ass behaviour - and looking at you and his other weirdo supporters, this shyt seems to work too to a degree, lmao

rory and mal cooking; the honeymoon period is over and that pod still doing well. nobody gives a fukk about that dumb ownership talk. i do not think joe will disappear but this notion that he will bounce back and reclaim his spot after being dropped by both sponsors and supporters is hilarious

I listen to Star Talk, and depending on the guest, Joe Rogan. Hip hop related podcasts get old quick. That’s the real reason why Everyday struggled folded.
