I respect this thread @Don Homer was VERY respectful of Dame's accomplishments. Great breakdown of his tenure in Portland.

Color me impressed:ehh:
Exactly.

nikkas acting like it's hate

Listing dame's playoff resume sounds like hating, maybe that's on Dame.

Curry stans are so insecure. Despite all of Steph’s achievements they try to downplay the career of other Hall of Fame guards that are peers of Curry, and it’s weird

That's all this is about too. Give Dame prime Klay/KD/Draymond and he's got rings. :umad:
where was I hating? What was insecure? :unimpressed:

That series against NO is what did it for me :scust:
nah, ur a hater if u think that :hubie:

ur a hater if u think Dame should've beaten the 2021 nuggets who were severely shorthanded also. Apparently he needed all-star teammates to take down Facundo Campazzo and Austin Rivers. And nikka, don't even get me started on Monte Morris coming off the bench :mjtf:

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
There were no expectations of greatness for that guy coming out of school.
This is true but once it became clear he was one of the best players in basketball, the expectations change...

2018 he was 4th place in MVP voting, there's really no excuse for getting mopped up the way he did by Rondo and Jrue. He was already a much better player than both by then, that's easily one of the worst performances I've seen a superstar put forth. You brought up "expectations", there was no expectation he'd get shytted on in that series the way he did...

2019, after all the hype of knocking out PG and Russ, he struggles mightily lined up across Jamal Murray who I forgot to even mention in my prior post, so here's 9 points who have at least as many playoff series Ws as Dame in the last decade...

He follows that up with not even being competitive vs Steph in the WCF...

I can give some leeway with a front office that definitely didn't build this team right around him. But '18 and '19 are unforgivable given he's never done anything since or before to atone for those weak ass performances...

When you add to his constant self-promotion as if he's this All-Time flamethrower (he isn't), the whole "Dame Time" shyt, it makes his results even worse...

I have no qualms with trivial self promotion like “Dame Time”. He wasn’t out here guaranteeing he was going to beat the 69 Colts or promising 10 chips in Miami. He came from a small school with minimal fan fare. It’s cool to play pressure cooker in the moment but after the fact it’s ok to be reasonable. Steph & Zeke remain the outlier. Most smaller guys aren’t leading you all the way…especially not without a perennial all star by your side. He’s had colossal games, great series, won & lost

His name isn’t Earvin Jeffrey Joe James who reports to mosque No. 9

And he’s certainly accomplished more in the offs than that damn Tracy McGrady

Tell me which one of those playoff series that dame lost was he the favorite in? Tell me besides LMA what other all star teammate dame had circa his 3rd year to now.

The honest to god truth is after they lost to the 2p16 warriors dame should have requested a trade because that team was going no where fast

All facts. But truth of the matter, all that can be for nought if he turns up in Miami.
But they won't win the chip tho, and excuses will continue to be made.

Helluva player tho man. All timer no doubt
