Thread title is saying his run is over because this most recent album or "playlist" ain't make the same impact his previous albums have.

His popularity is taking a decline.

Every time before this whenever he's come out w/ new music, there's always been a long drawn out hype over his music. This time, it wasn't. The music was put out and in 2 months it was almost as if nothing new had even come out. When in the past, his music would still be lingering around and getting over hyped. Even the usual Drake fans and stans on here won't even talking bout a couple of months later; not like they've done his previous projects.

This go round was different, unlike any other time. This playlist came and went w/ the wind.

End of story.

He can still come back with a hit album. What you're saying is true, but doesn't exactly mean his run is over. It's normal for a rapper to take a year off. That don't mean they're run is over. Unless you just mean consecutively being on the charts. He was on the hot 100 charts for like 8 years straight or something, so that run is over. I still think he'll be back with more hits.
