Yeah but Marquez was to small to be a credible threat. Mosley was pushing 40 when they fought though he had a chance years ago to fight Floyd and backed out because of his tooth supposedly. And everyone knew that Ortiz was not gonna do much of anything.

He gave Victor Ortiz who was way more proven as a fighter at the time 2.5 milly and Guerrero has the nerve to trip at that? Dude is lucky to even be the sacrificial lamb in this fight period. I think Floyd gave Marquez close to 4 mill if i'm not mistaken and he's a damn legend.

I know the Guerrero side is done. But the fight cant be finalized until Floyd signs, so he might be looking elsewhere. But the point is whatever the delay has nothing to do with Ghost asking for more money. Maybe Floyd decided he doesnt want to fight him. Maybe Floyd has an injury. Maybe there is a problem between Floyd/Haymon and Schaefer on which network to go to. It could be a lot of things, but it isn't a problem with the Guerrero side of the deal.

I understand he's a great story, a great fighter, coming off great wins at 147, but he's asking for half the money Cotto got when he's not half the draw Cotto is, even if he is a Mexican-American fighter going against Mayweather on Cinco De Mayo weekend.
