So it's safe to say that Crabtree is a top 10 WR...

No Julio? :what:

Jennings and Fitzgerald

Julio is not quite there yet, mostly because Roddy still gets the 1st looks from Ryan.

Jennings did not have a stellar year, he was hurt most of the year.

You can add Fitz, but if you didn't give Crab the benefit of the doubt playing with Alex Smith. I think you have to accept Fitz's produciton at face value as well.

Julio is a pro bowler :aicmon:

Fitz is borderline top 5 with qbs way worse than Alex Smith. Crabtree is playing great but there is no room for him in the top 10

The difference is that ALex Smith might be better, but the QB's that play with Fitz, LOOK FOR FITZ! They will force him the ball if need be. Alex Smith's favorite target was Vernon Davis. He didn't target Crabtree. We see what Crabtree can do with a QB that is willing to throw him the ball.

Exactly

Dre
Larry
Megatron
Aj
Julio
Roddy
Dez
Wayne
Jennings
Marshall
Austin when Healthy
Anquan Bolden
Vincent Jackson

Hell I'd have trouble putting him past Mike Wallace or Demaryius Thomas

I'd give Percy Harvin the edge over Crabtree. He was putting in work with Ponder before he got injured

So what, that's the same with Andre Johnson, being the only target is harder when defenses focus solely on you making it that more impressive. Crabtree would not produce the same way in fitzs situation.
Bottom line... If you could have one or the other who would you choose on your team right now? :beli:

Crabs is the 9ers only option. VD has not caught many balls this year. When you figure how many YAC he gets, 1st downs, etc....Crabs is deff slept on. Dude is a monster.

Crabs with Kaep for the whole year you project that into a 16 game season and he's at 1400+ yards and 14TD's

Yes, Crabtree is a borderline top 10 receiver this year, all these people saying Alex Smith held him back don't really know what they're talking about. Crabtree had a good rookie year and had a god year last year, the only years dude has been healthy. In fact Crabs was well on pace to make his numbers regardless. Crabtree plays in a run first offense, in all truth if Vernon Davis wasn't having such an off year, Crabs would be the #2 maybe the #3 target. The thing this year is that now that he's healthy he can get a little separation but more importantly he can make the first guy miss and get yards after the reception. But with Kaps ability to move will make Crabtree a better target moving forward, dude is just now entering his prime.
