He's one of the most gifted scorers of the modern era, yet again that doesn't exclude him from being overrated (just like every other player that's played the game). I mean lets just take a general example - dudes claiming that he's better than Wade, on an all-time list or in their primes are overrating him. Dudes think his image and physical limitations somehow they add more points to his value on court - they don't.

Seeing people try to dismiss his limitations or inefficient play with just "well he was small" is like seeing Kobe stans try to use LeBron or Wade's shot selection as an indictment of them while using Kobe's shot selection as a means of propping him up, as if it's better to take bad shots.

It's a similar premise. The stans are arguing as if a players flaws or limitations make him better than someone who doesn't have those limitations.

What was the point in referencing his generic league achievements as if it somehow negated what I posted? If somebody said that he's better than Jordan, would that be overrating him?

I dont really like Iverson but what I can tell you is ... he was super consistent and could score from anywhere on the floor. His passing skills were pretty unique too, he would always get them off right when you least expected it
