In my life I have yet to meet a black man that's into basketball that didn't respect Allen Iverson's game. He was 6'0 and 165 soaking wet and he dominated out there amongst the trees. A 6'0 sophomore PG was the #1 pick in the most loaded draft of all time, Jennings couldnt tie AI shoes.

He never felt the need to "dress the right way" or "say the right thing" or "play the right way" so white america criticized him. That's after sending him to jail on a false case, ruining his chances of becoming a McDonalds All American and ending his football career in the process.

He's one of the most gifted scorers of the modern era, yet again that doesn't exclude him from being overrated (just like every other player that's played the game). I mean let's just take a general example - dudes claiming that he's better than Wade, on an all-time list or in their primes are overrating him. Dudes think his image and physical limitations somehow they add more points to his value on court - they don't.
