Prolly will fall on deaf ears considering who's involved (Drake, part of the hip hop messegeboard axis of evil...and the son of 90's label head with long rep...shades of those Rick Ross vs. the Real Rick Ross threads where people swore he had a case)...but legally shyt looks pretty filmsy and nothing than will turn into some heated court battle...the music industry ain't the type of business where 4 year old undocumented "verbal agreements" carry the day....lest every failed act in the land would be taking people to court for getting promised to be made a star...
Typically the shyt Jas did for Drake (passed his tape on to a music exec), is taken care of with a one time finder's fee...J. Prince Sr. got a executive producer credit for Thank Me Later, which I could only assume was on the strength of that...what this seems like to me is that Jas and Drake had a personal falling out...he was a notable, permanent part of Drake's entourage up until the run up of Take Care then suddenly disappeared...without seeing the documents and going by allhiphop's write up (difficult considering online rap "journalism" is a joke, they didn't even get the right son)...sounds like Jas wanted in on the management side, and is suing for a portion of the 10% or whatever it is that Drake's management gets (Tez and Gee)...will prolly be thrown out though, he has no paperwork
