Gansesvoort is dope, I stayed there last summer for a few days, that lounge overlooking the Hudson was cool, Colombian hookers and all. But yeah, that scene. I want to add the disclaimer, I don't think it's cool, though I like Ja's music, his crowd of over privileged, suburbanites living in gentrified neighborhoods, like the male cast of "Girls", are not people I really respect or admire. I don't know if he doesn't know or doesn't care, that he's a novelty act and a clown in a suit for these type of people, whether they listen to rap or not.
