man let me tell yall something.

aside from his petty grudge against ron browz, jay didnt give a rats ass about whether autotune lived or died. he just saw that it was becoming an inflated bubble and figured that the trend was about to die out. so he hurried up & recorded DOA in hopes of being credited for its death.

its the same thing he did with jerseys. dude is real smart but hes lame as hell.

and heres the big kicker. remember when they were recording BP3, and they were saying that him & kanye were recording an autotune track for THAT album?

Also today I revisited Blueprint 3 and it didn't age too well

it was never good to begin with.

What was his beef with T-Pain though?
I don't think he had it out for T-pain or anything serious but I think it was business move and maybe he personally was tired of the autotune trend too. A lot of people were tired of it included myself. T-Pain =Autotune in 2009 he was really only one doing it on a large scale. He probably went after him to get buzz for his new single and album.

someone needs to make a DOA II .... but even so DOA did have an effect... remember beforehand we had nxggas like Lil Wayne doing the We Are The World with Autotune.... it's used the same as it used to be but still its making a comeback

Autotune was cool when it was Tpain's signature
Soon an Kanyeezy started with it and it sold numbers others said screw it we in here.
Mixed the King fraud Dreezy into it and it was a rap.
After growing up spending days in college where every single hour was used to download every version of every hiphop song that ever came out on Napster/Limewire and spending hours watching BET/MTV/MTV2 even late on Saturday nights when they would transition from tip drill to some gospel programs.....I don't even listen to or care about hiphop anymore unless its pre 2010s or diss tracks where people are beefing or RAW freestyling. Genre is dead. Its just a way for people to make money now,by any means necessary, no longer a beautiful expression of talent.
I remember hearing desiner in a car and going, this that future guy right that did that Commas song right. Its dope. Young peeps in the car looking at me like :hhh:

I knew i had messed up. :mjlol: Took me forever to put 2 and 2 together.
