Damn when I think about it all of those might be classic, but I'd say that half are only true classics the other 3 are "Jay-z stan classics".

However Outkast has the most classics, 4 undeniable classics imo.

2pac 3 classics

Biggie 2 classics

Nas 3 classics(Distant Relative) 1 arguable classic (stillmatic)

Jay 1 classics 1 arguable classic(bluprint)

Outkast 4 classics 1arguable classic

Common 3 classics(ressurection, water for choc, BE) 1 arguable

The Roots 4 classics

if we keepin it real its really between Outkast & The Roots
lol, he even had to specify Distant Relatives.

Came in to say in 96-97 Nikkas wasnt listening to RD in my parts......
i must say thats the most over-rated disc of all.....

"Reasonable Doubts"........i doubt all sound and logic reason this is a classic.....

God Son was blazing at this time and Jay-Z was hot as a match stick after u blew the flame out.....

Dont forget Pac..........even thought he was dead he still dropped a better disc than Jay-Z

and Jay my man, but RD is bullshyt they keep slapping on the wall of fame....
Who cares what people were listening to around your parts, you are from New Orleans? :dahell:There's a bunch of albums that had a lot less commercial success than RD and probably didn't see a lot of success out of their region that are straight classics. Just cause nikkas in say Boston didn't fukk with UGK until years later doesn't mean that Ridin Dirty isn't a classic. Or dudes in Texas with Ultramagnetic Mc's or whatever.

Kind of Blue is one of the slowest multiplatinum albums ever, is that not a classic? It took it 30 years or something to go gold and it's 4x now.

Some nikka said Nas got 8 classics and Distant Relatives is a classic :mjlol:

Word has no meaning on here I swear. Jay got 2-3 classics. American Gangster ain't a classic it's a good album there's nothing classic about it.

Reverse that MJ smiley........all those Pac albums are classic:ufdup:

Yes, and it aint even remotely close cuz he got 2x as any of these other shytty ass excuses for rappers to have had the misfortune to exist in the same universe as the GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd...I do have Vol 1 in place of Vol 2 but see the argument for Vol 2 cuz it's a borderline classic (4.5/5)
anigif_enhanced-buzz-4528-1381155488-21.gif

Not to mention one of his GOATly classics by itself shyts on every other album ever created so if u ranked the GOAT hip hop albums it'd start off with the GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd's 6 classics & 4 more of his albums followed by who gives the slightest fukk
anigif_enhanced-buzz-4528-1381155488-21.gif

Plus his classics include the GOAT debut & lyrical album RD, the GOAT sophomore album Vol 1, the GOAT retirement album & GOAT rap album TBA, the GOAT soundtrack (AG), & the GOAT collab album WTT that he somehow managed to drag to classic status despite the epic awfulness of that musical abomination making, wack ass, moist ass fukk boy KangayZest aka Prostate Monche aka Sticky Anal-Fingaz aka Bruce Bruce Jenner aka Tranye aka Kimye Kartrashian aka Koonye aka Zzzeeus Christ aka Yawnye Zzzest

RD
Vol 2
Blueprint
Black album
American Gangster
Watch The Throne

All impactful. All dope top to bottom. All had a moment.

No, but he is one of the only rappers with a very mediocre filler double album, and massively praised yet over-hyped album, and a very underwhelming joint album. I guess that should count for something.

American Gangster is a dope album and I still play it some today, but I wouldn't call it a classic.

"My Point Exactly" - ReallyReal

Thread titles say "Jay is the only rapper to have 6 classic"
I never said "Ridin Dirty" was a classic......
but i know RD is not a classic........for real for real.....nikkas saying song for song RD is classic.....
fukk outta here.......and yea im from New Orleans......and in 96-97 nikkas wasnt listening to Jay-Z
RD was nowhere on the radar.......fukk outta here.......

Nikka Juvenile 1st album was a classic that Solja Rags shyt was str8 flames.......

shyt nikka UNLV 6 and B was classic nikka.......

{the point is} is kind of hard to define classic when nikkas been listening to this rap shyt for over 30 yrs......

for instance take a very little known rapper in todays climate from a far away region.......

Lets say Nipsey Hussle........ im pretty sure West Coast cats consider "Bullets aint got no names" a classic........
shyt nikkas on the West dont have to validate that i heard the cd myself.......shyt is a classic......

now fast forward 10 yrs........ and Nipsey gets a huge a break and garner crossover success.....
he will tell nikkas "Bullets aint got no names" is a classic.......and nikkas on the West will back him
but nationally and overall, that shyt was like a drop water in a pissed filled Port-A-Potty......
When Reasonable Doubts dropped, that shyt got no play no where.......i repeat
when Reasonable Doubts dropped that shyt got no play no where......

nikkas talking about the impact RD had on the game.......what impact.......
nikkas acting like Reasonable Doubt overshadowed "Pac Death".......or overshadowed "Big Death"
nikkas acting like Reasonable Doubts overshadowed "The 7day Theory"......or "Life after Death".....
shyt nikka Mase was still killing shyt that year........fukk outta here with challenging me on Jay-Z classics
nikka ima Jay-Head....... i fukks with the "Lord of the Camels"........ but nikkas jumping on this RD classic bandwagon
sounds crazy.........when that shyt dropped it came and went.......

for the record i think Big Homey Hova have 2-3 classics at most.......

nikka said 6.... fukk is u crazy :dahell:

Keep Ya Head Up & I Get Around are too damn Gargantuan....Titan tracks.....elevates the whole thing to classic status IMO....They're just too iconic within the culture of hip hop....too damn iconic...classic

better days and UTEOT weren't classics only cuz songs got remixed that didn't need to be

but 2pacalypse, strictly, thug life, Matw, aeom, Makaveli, rusd and still I Rise all are classics
