This nikka EJ straight up refused to run zone read plays. EJ is a powerful runner but he would hardly run. The bills actually thought they were getting a QB who could effectively run the zone read the fukk were they thinking

Whole program was exposed vs Oklahoma Ponder never had a fukking defense at FSU. EJ played with top 5 defenses his 2 seasons at FSU and still couldn't close the deal. EJ balled out pretty much vs Clemson in 2012 other than that he feasted on chumps. Ponder on the 2012 team goes undefeated in the regular season im being honest. EJ was looking like Oliver McCall vs Lewis on the field in that game he brought nothing to the table.

EJ would not or won't run because he doesn't want to be labeled a, "black scrambling QB," which is kinda admirable in one sense, and kinda detrimental towards his career in another. I also think he was drafted by the Bills so high for the same reason cats who weren't all that nice in college like Locker and Gabbert got picked high. He "seems" like he should be good with unlimited time to practice and study. He looks the part, strong, big, fast, articulate, etc. Obviously, he's missing a few things that are intrinsic to the position which cancel out the rest (such as accuracy and pocket presence), but I think that's the thought process.

As far as Jimbo throwing dude under the proverbial bus, this shyt is a non-story. It happens. You think every first rounder that Saban has had at Alabama he's been like, "This dude is going to be just on the next level," to scouts and NFL personnel?
