Jimbo Fisher didn't mislead NFL teams about EJ Manuel

"Fisher was adamant throughout the pre-draft evaluation process that he didn't believe Manuel had the tools to be an NFL starter and that he shouldn't be any better than a 3rd round pick."
Reports this morning from NFL insiders say the Bills benched Manuel out of fear for their receivers health.
There is a way of doing and saying things. He could have said "EJ should go to a place where he can sit and learn for a couple years, etc."
Not the "He doesnt have the tools to be an NFL starter"
True or not you dont bury your players. EJ has been a good dude to FSU. He's doing his best to take Jameis under the wing with some of his issues.
This is the one thing I dont like about Bud Elliot for Tomahawknation.
On one hand...he pimps Jimbo Fisher as this QB Guru who gets guys to the NFL...
Then when they fail (JaMarcus, Ponder, and maybe now EJ)...its well Jimbo did his job and its not on him.
Now he's talking about how "honest" Jimbo is.
The truth is this should negatively impact recruiting. Not help. So after playing hurt and giving it my all....I got my coach saying I cant make it in this league
Be careful Jameis. He'll fight to keep you on the field in college, but when them NFL teams come around
