There were rules around releasing details of Von Miller's testing too. They too were broken and information was leaked. The situations are basically the same.

The original information came from a LEAK which implies there was no right to release the information. It came out anyway. Someone snitched.

I agree the timing is suspicious, but that could mean the leaker in question just waited until the information was most valuable and then released it. Schiano could also be responsible, but there are more obvious reasons for why Schiano might want to distance himself from Freeman's failures. It could also be because Freeman had been reportedly asking for a trade. I personally think Freeman sucks and said so well before he started this season.

I understand the general idea but I don't see evidence for the same phenomenon here. First, Josh's demeanor, attitude, speech pattern, his surroundings, big nose etc are similar to full white players. I would think white coaches take better to Freeman than they would Second, there have been links about full white players in the past too, so it's not like Freeman's situation is unprecedented.

If Schiano is responsible, I just think he and his staff want to distance themselves from Freeman's failures and accordingly save their jobs. He could also be retaliating for Freeman's asking for a trade. It could even be Freeman who released the medical records so that he gets released.

I don't necessarily think Schiano hates Freeman because if this was true, why not trade the guy before the season started? Freeman has been given many chances and this season has so far been his worse. Maybe Schiano wants to move on, which itself isn't a unreasonable request. The Rams should consider moving on from Bradford too.
Are you completely ignoring the fact that its CLEARLY against the rules and the law to leak information unless he's FAILED a test. This does not compare to Von Miller at all because he repeatedly failed the tests.

Why are we just now hearing about this shyt, and not the 46 other tests? Right after our knucklehead coach costs us yet another victory, without his scapegoat from all season?

You're arguing just to argue breh.

Am I the only person thinking Chip Kelly is up in Philly looking at Josh like :ehh:?

Chip needs an athletic QB. Foles and Barkley don't fit that bill. Freeman is big, can run (he doesn't, but he can) and he has a big arm.

The sames rules did not apply.

Now you're making shyt up.

I didn't say the "same rules". I said "there were rules". I'm not making anything up. You're the one projecting here.

Chip needs an athletic QB.

Freeman fumbles, has concentration lapses and is slow. Philly's back up Nick Foles isn't fast but he can throw on the move with some efficacy, similar to Freeman. They're both big QBs. Outside of arm strength I don't see how Freeman is necessarily an upgrade over Foles.

Freeman could and should end up in Minnesota.

What you're saying is jibba jabba. Either they're the same rules or they aren't. I said they aren't.....you're just jumbling a string of words together.

There can be two different sets of rules for leaking information, one more severe and one less. That's totally possible and exactly the case here. Why you want to go hell and back for Josh Freeman is beyond me breh.

dog...theres a confidentiality agreement tied to the rules to Freeman's drug use.

That agreement was non existent with Miller/

His medical records release were at the very least a breach of organizational confidentiality rules.

It's still against general organizational confidentiality rules and a firable offense depending on who leaked it.
No....it wasn't. Miller's "leak" was tied to an eventual punishment and was to be exposed anyway. So it wasn't so much a leak as it was someone got to the info "first."

You simply don't want to admit there's a clear difference.

That's funny because I already said there's a difference -- the difference being the severity of punishment associated with leaking respective medical records. Information regarding Miller's investigation was supposed to be confidential until the process was completed and a punishment levied.

Pro Football Talk:
"We’ll likely never know all the details of Miller’s case, just like we never know all the details of most NFL suspensions for violations of the substance-abuse policy, because the league’s confidentiality rules keep that information quiet. The very fact that we’re talking about this before Miller’s appeal has been heard shows that someone violated the confidentiality rules by leaking the news that he’s facing a suspension, but when these leaks come out, they usually don’t tell the full story."

NFL confidential rules were broken in Miller's case just like in Freeman's.

Because there was punishment involved. There is none with Freeman....why dont you get that?

Be billionaires, own a football team, drop millions on a top flight receiver, offensive lineman, and 2 defensive backs, but cheap out and hire a college coach who couldn't win the Big East brehs :stopitslime:
