Welcome to the real world…..after that unauthorized Espn interview where he publicly said he wants to be traded which as a player you just never do unless your a Superstar..

Josh freeman really proved that you can’t go up against a large organization as a disgruntled employee and come out unscathed….expect more targeted news releases that discredit Freeman and gives the Owners/GM/Coach an out in the upcoming days…
.. I'm not even mad at the bucs for doing it.. It's a business.. When some of you guys understand that you won't be so hurt or take things personally.. Look at it as if you ran the team and you had a qb with issues .. We all played franchise mode in madden.. It's just like that.. As owners gms and coaches, players are just a contracts, productivity and years on the contract..oh and in the sports everyone is replaceable perfect example the great Peyton manning the colts moved on with the quickness... freeman ain't even close to Peyton u think they are crying over losing him
.. But with football the thing that seperates the good teams from the trash ones are back up players .. It's all about the next man up..

The Bucs as an organization are alienating a bunch of people and making their reputation look bad. To slander someone and potentially ruin their career over some petty shyt is a punk move. There's no way to justify that.

Imagine josh freeman didn't open his mouth demanding trades after getting benched took it like a g, went to the weight room to take out his frustration and get stronger and faster with the strength coach, motivated himself to watch more film and meet with his coaches to better his football iq.. And who's knows mike glennon will probally struggle I mean he is a 3rd draft pick.. And guess who comes to the rescue good ole josh freeman ..imagine he came in and balled..that would show sooo much character and leadership.. He needs new agents telling him how to handle things..I mean shyt it's his contract year.. Teams understand he played for a trash team.. Somebody will pay you.. But demanding a trade that's not something you want your franchise qb doing Naa mean.. Forget all the b.s. Reports I heard freeman say I want to get traded .. Let the gm do his job josh don't kill your trade value on Espn the cnn of sports really?? But even after all that somebody is still going pick him up because he has mad starts and experience .. He's good either way but he lost some millions by letting his emotions get the best of him.. Just my opinion ..

Schiano doesn't like his ass period. All of that would mean nothing and he's not getting another chance. What other option does he have?

Buccaneers (for now) quarterback Josh Freeman has responded to the report regarding his status in Stage One of the league’s substance abuse program.

In a statement issued to PFT, Freeman explains that he has a prescription for Adderall, due to ADHD. Freeman says that, last year, he accidentally took Ritalin instead of Adderall, tested positive for Ritalin, and agreed to submit to unannounced and repeated testing, resulting in his placement in Stage One.

“I have agreed to take, and have PASSED 46 NFL-regulated drug tests over the last year and a half,” Freeman says.

Freeman explains that he has taken the tests at the team’s facility, which apparently raised suspicions from some regarding whether he has a drug problem. Coincidentally (or not), as the relationship between Freeman and the team has deteriorated, those suspicions have become rumors running rampant through the media.

“Unfortunately, it appears that some people who may have noticed the testing at my workplace have made hurtful and incorrect assumptions and chosen to disseminate inaccurate and very disturbing information,” Freeman says. “It is a shame that when times have gotten tough, people have chosen to attack the character of others, rather than supporting each other.”
Freeman doesn’t name names, but he’s necessarily referring to people in his workplace. Given his recent issues with his head coach and given that these rumors and reports have arisen in the wake of those issues, it’s not all that hard to connect dots back Greg Schiano or someone acting on his behalf.
Regardless, it’s becoming even more clear that the Buccaneers need to find a way out of this mess. The distraction is only getting bigger, and it’s the last thing Schiano needs as he tries to coach his way out of an 0-4 hole.

I've been reading this shyt with equal parts intrigue and dismay.

I never heard a bad thing about this dudes character at all. It feels like a smear job of epic proportions that makes such little business sense, it kind of feel like they MUST not be making it up...right?

Gil Brandt on NFL radio two days ago said he's known Freeman for a long time and has a hard time believing all of these smears against him.

shyt is about to get real...

Schiano has had a willingness to air things out on front street regarding Josh in order to exonerate himself. This isn't about business sense.

But....I mean....what the fukk could he have done to piss Schiano off so bad that it would escalate to THIS?

And if this is really the coach leaking all this, this ownership group should had their head examined.

Its not even that I blindly would stick up for Freeman...its just that I don't think anyone ever posted a bad thing about him as a person for 3 years, then all of a sudden all this random shyt comes out at once. Crazy

Greg Schiano is a psycho. This shyt would have flied at Rutgers. College coaches pull stunts like this a lot when a player leaves a program. In the NFL, players have their own PR team and media contacts and can shut shyt up.

Schiano is just a scumbag.

Nothing in this post was about schiano... I think he gave all he can but he is going to get fire in the next couple weeks..like really I would fire him too . I'm from jersey and most people hate him because he's from jersey .. I can relate..
:camby:Good Riddance. Raheem Morris is from NJ too and it didn't save his job. He had this squad of bums looking respectable. Lost 2 games and all of a sudden :ld:"He lost the locker room." This weak ass Cac Schiano has never had the locker room and house nikkas and crackers are jumping in front of bullets for him. His claim to fame is getting his ass beat and diving at a QBs knees when he's downing the ball.

With all that said Josh Freeman.....

Jay Glazer - Again folks, Josh Freeman told me yesterday that he would like to be released or traded to not let the situation be a distraction any more.
Jay Glazer - Freeman believes team is holding on to him til trade deadline in case a team loses a QB. At this point, don't let it get uglier. Let him go
