Where those Paul George apologists at?
What does he have to do with this? I don't recall people in general, mentioning pretty Paul George as being in contention for the best SF throne. He's often (and should be) mentioned among the top SF's but never a threat to KD, LeBron or now, Kawhi.

Now, if you call out the Melo apologists from a year or two ago , then we're talking.

I will play Naismith advocate for a minute. Who would you rather start your franchise with right now? :lupe:

When Timmy, Tony, Manu, call it a career will Kawhi be enough with Aldridge?:lupe:

Consider this also, the Spurs seem to have that magic of staying relevant every season but how much of that is Pop and Buford? :lupe:

:lupe:
Kawhi is that dude, breh. So spurs will be fine. Especially with Aldridge there to help they should be able to build around them.

All u need is 2 stars and they are just that. Granted Aldridge hasn't proven himself in the playoffs yet, being on the Spurs should make it an easy learning process with his skillset.

There was a discussion going on on this board about who was the better player between PG and Kawhi.

After TD, Manu, and TP leave. Yes. Kawhi and Aldridge will be enough to build around. The big 3 dont even play in alot of games. The Spurs have always done more with less, and that won't change.

Spurs strength has always been the bench depth.

Funny how people always make it seem like the big 3 is a strength. Yet they have been saying they are old and done for the last 4 years.

funny how you don't realize that is Pop is leaving with that big three and he's not as replaceable as you think all of your players are. :troll:

Funny how you don't know that Pop came out and said that he's coaching for at least 5 more years, when they signed Aldridge. :camby:

i) PG is/was better than Kawhi
ii) Kawhi isn't in contention for the best SF throne (not at this stage anyway) - that's between KD and LeBron
iii) This board has been trying to compare the two (PG and Kawhi) for the last two/three+ seasons.

Playing with Russ makes it very to be efficient. Especially when you're Kevin Durant
Yes playing with Westbrook does help his efficiency, however let's not act like he wasn't shooting 55% scoring 35 points a game when Westbrook was injured during his MVP-run. Nevertheless why would you even bring this up? What's it suppose to prove when Durant has had months shooting with this type of efficiency before WITHOUT Westbrook?
