So what? The Warriors just went 5 with the Cavs which is an inferior team to the Heat. The Heat had way more firepower, a much younger LeBron, a team that had plenty shooters and loved to play physical ball. The Warriors showed this series that they could be beat and they fall apart with physical punishment.

LeBron James - A Prime LeBron could mitigate a 28 Year Old Durant
Dwayne Wade - Wade is taking Klay out the game. Period.
Chris Bosh - Bosh is going to score whenever and however he wants on Dray.
Mario Chalmers - The only mismatch GS has in their favor. Steph would kill him.
Mike Miller & Ray Allen - Both will rain down threes on GS. Along with Battier, a lowkey good three point shooter.
Battier & Haslem - Both are goons and will annoy multiple GS players on defense.
Birdman - Will get key blocks and rebounds.

The Heat could beat this Warriors squad.

Its KD for me. He scored over, under and around LeBron like Bron was an afterthought while giving LeBron a bit of trouble the defensive end. He is also elite off the ball which separates him from LeBron for me. He can score 30 and get 8-10 boards and not have the ball in his hands a lot, this was the case in OKC too. His first step is where Bron's was 4-5 years ago. Edge goes to KD

The Warriors just won a series where they outrebounded the Cavs, a team that is traditionally an excellent rebounding team, the Cavs couldn't secure defensive rebounds because they were spaced out. The whole point of Bosh was to draw traditional centers out of the paint, the Warriors could go small with him and put Draymond on him, Durant on Battier and Iguodala on LeBron like they have done.

Look, KD is a phenomenal ATG player who just put up one of the better NBA Finals performances in history, but this conversation honestly isn't even happening if he doesn't choose on joining a squad he blew a 3-1 lead to in the WCF who had 67 and 73 win seasons, back-to-back Finals apps and a chip without him, with a core of talent and style of play which couldn't possibly better suit him. Steph Curry was that dude the last two years and he isn't a better player than Lebron either. Give it a rest.

Durant was a better player than LeBron last year though, he was just unfortunate he didn't get the right breaks against GS and LeBron did. All things equal, OKC lose to GS in seven games (off Durant arguably being the best player in the series), and the Cavs lose to GS in five last season. That's the problem with folk who measure players in a vacuum based on what team wins without applying the appropriate context, while believing that more accomplished = better.
