His absolute ceiling is maybe he gets a Mel Gibson Hacksaw Ridge pass where the entertainment industry conveniently forgets about why they don't fukk with him temporarily. Although it could be argued that specific movie was less about Gibson, and more about him catching the tail end of the industry trying to make Andrew Garfield a legit star.
If he's lucky, he gets to have a post 90s Woody Allen career where he works regularly, but it's mostly ignored here in the States.
