I was actually listening to Life After Death yesterday. Would've been better as one disc.

To each his own, but "nikkas Bleed" is my favorite song on the album. I'm not the guy to think my favorites have to be everyone else's as well, but it was surprising to see it completely left out of a proposed single disc altogether.

Now I'm :ohhh:at how the story that runs through the album would have fit on one album.

Both discs had 12 tracks. If you take out Another, Nasty Boy, and Player Hater and make one disc it basically just as long as Ready to Die:russ:

Take out Goin Back To Cali also. Dude was pandering on that track and got merked shortly after. LAD shoulda been 15-16 tracks maximum with maybe some skits attached to the end of a couple of tracks

The dude fukked all the loose women at Bad Boy though, two just happened to be "lighter" or whatever. I wonder if white people sit around and discuss if Paul McCartneys broads were light crackers or dark crackers and what the definition is :snoop:.

This board has a unhealthy obsession over analyzing the color of of chicks dudes mess with.

I wish there was footage of albums like LAD being recorded. Imagine seeing BIG vibe out to hearing these beats as they being made and then seeing him get in the booth spit shyt he just thought of! :mindblown::wow:

Literally the only thing I can find starts at 2:55. I’m sure there is way more that they aren’t releasing for whatever reason

this is 97 we're talking about here. I kept it to 14 songs. World is filled could be substituted with somebody's gotta die. A few songs are interchangeable, but songs like "hypnotize"(i have no idea why people like that bs), player hater, nasty boy, and another are filler tracks
Mofo you crazy. Hypnotize is the shyt

:patrice: YEAH I agree somewhat.

BUT I can't view that album the same if "ANOTHER" is not on it. It's one of the most honest tracks BIG ever did considering even currently today we have so many dudes going thru that. You're with a girl you really care about but you keep fukking up and messing with other girls. It was a peak into not only BIG's insecurities but a lot of men who do dirt, but cant take it when it's done to them. And then KIM gives her POV.

I know throughout hip-hop we have had the "battle of the sexes" types tracks but to me this was the most honest and well thought out tracks...

Somebody gotta die is the best track on the album. I still play it regularly. It sets the mood for the entire album, and the story telling is very vivid... With albums unless your doing own compilations less is always more. Meaning with double albums you're always gonna have fillers no matter how great it is overall.

Nasty boy, Going back to cali, fukking you tonight, & player hater were not needed imo. Trim it down to 10 tracks each and it's truly an even better masterpiece. Same could be said for Pac's AEOM.
