I hate when people say stuff like "Heat already sonned the Thunder, Bulls, Pacers, etc a few years back."

We're gonna act like teams don't break through and get over the hump? Granted, I know the NBA playoff outcomes are fairly predictable, but get the healthy squads for a run and you never know what can happen.

By their logic the Heat shouldn't have won last year.

These teams haven't gotten over the hump though. they got worse. It'd be one thing if the teams were the same except with more experience. but instead they lost players to trades injuries and free agency. Meanwhile the heat got better. its a forgone conclusion breh :manny:

:kobewut:

1. One of those superstars is 39 years old.
2. The second superstar came in fresh off of back surgery.
3. The Heat Big 3 didn't win a title in their first season together. If the Lakers win next year (and don't take this as me saying they will, I know how y'all are) then all of this is stupid.
4. Lakers have missed 171 games to injury. Bryant-Howard-Gasol-Nash-World Peace have only played 19 games together.

The 2010-2011 Miami Heat, for example. They went through the season relatively unscathed, finishing 58-24 behind neither LeBron James, Dwyane Wade nor Chris Bosh missing more than 14 games between the three of them.

Stop it.
