not trying to be funny but what would the NBA legends say about this?....did sht like this happen back in their day?
The biggest thing I get from this is that for the last few years LeBron has tried to re-write the rules on the competitive nature of the NBA. Unless it was All Star Weekend or if a player was in another player's city for a game, you probably didn't see them hanging out like that. I don't know for sure. I'm not in NBA circles. But some people don't see a problem with it
I remember the big deal that was made about him going to Big Z's jersey retirement his last season in Miami. He was invited by Big Z so he went. I don't know if that rubbed Riley and Spo the wrong way but it was something about it that was just different.
And I guess it depends on context as well. The big Z thing wasn't that serious to me. They were in the driver's seat in the East and the only team they really had to worry about were the Pacers.
This shyt with Wade is different on a bunch of levels, but mainly becuz it's pushing towards the end of the season and while this Cavs team is good, it's a complete clusterfukk. They have enough bullshyt going on within the team so why stir the pot some more? I have a few theories on why but it would make him sound even more petty than I already believe he is.
