On the grounds of what though? Scoring? Efficiency? Impact on defense? Versatility? Keeping teammates involved? Durability? Consistency? Big games under pressure? Here’s the two spots Kobe has the edge in: 10-16 foot jumpers and free throw shooting. Literally everything else is in favor of James. Everything meaningful Kobe did was from 1998-2013. That’s a 15-16 year span. LeBron is in year 15 now and still going strong while becoming a lights out shooter since 2011 too, shooting above his career average from deep in six of the last seven seasons now including this one, regularly taking his threes off the dribble and taking a large amount of them too. He’s even aged more gracefully as he’s aged on account of the fact that 2008-09 was the last season Kobe shot better than 32.9% from distance.

That doesn’t even pass inspection when you see that LeBron and Kobe both post better numbers against the West overall on the career since the best defenses are almost always in the eastern conference.

Whatever u can say Lebron is better than Kobe at as a player u can say the same for Jordan. Yet most ppl are hesitant to say Bron is better than Jordan but quick to say he’s better than Kobe. Can someone please explain this?? Because if Bron is better than Kobe he’s better than Jordan. But if the consensus is Jordan is the greatest I don’t see how Bron is better than Kobe when Kobe has basically a comparable skillset to Jordan.
