Its most likely dust build up or maybe a kid stuck something in the drive. The PS4 gets way hotter than the Xbox one because of the smaller footprint and internal PSU.

Its easy to access the blu ray drive. Just be careful with the cables.

MS was so fukking stupid. All they had to do was build on what they already had with the 360 and for what ever stupid fukking reason, they go and implement the stupid ass Kinect, trynna swagger jack Nintendo. Like WTF are you even doing? It made their hardware less competitive than the PS4's from the jump. Not to mention their OS was trash from the jump which was suppose be their strength. Total fukking mess. No wonder they're in a hurry to release a new console..
