My dad is a barber and he doesn't do edge ups. It's a culture thing. He's also 62 and his hairline is still the same from 40 years ago, he only turned grey.

Yeah, I can confirm. I remember Haitian barbers in New York doing this. Moms used to send me to a guy that just cut the hair low and send you on your way.

I didn't mind it until I got placed into public school, I told my mom I didn't want to go there anymore if they weren't gonna give a breh a tape up
