When you were listing da things people "grow wiser" from or grow out of it, I felt/feel as though you were partially right. BUT going off on a slight tangent. Dat "growing smarter" aspect(in regards to being a hoe(da specific topic at hand)) should be neatly placed in da nearest bush.

Is it really growing "wiser" attending Bible study classes every Thursday n Saturday now after realizing no decent man wants a used up cum dumpster for a mate?

To me it isn't so much as growing wiser as it's more an act of desperation/last resort. But then again maybe desperate moves can still be grouped under growing wiser in some aspects.

Either way da shyt usually gets a slight from me whenever I hear about an all of sudden "change" inna braud like dat. Especially when she's older and past her physical prime.

For those who don't know, I'm atheist, but the responses are still interesting.

I aint mad at someone for having some kind of spiritual growth, but I can't sit here and say I don't find it mildly hypocritical/hilarious too.

People usually live their lives doing whatever they want (especially in Hollywood) and after the drugs and years of groupies they get tired. Problem is they are not tired of the grind they are unhappy because all the pleasure and debauchery doesn't bring them satisfaction. They either seek religion or they commit that. One of the worst positions to be in is when you get sick of pleasure. Look up the bio of Oscar Wilde if you want. He was the walking definition of if it feels good then do it.

For example cats were happy with videos on some chest meat then is became whatever. That wasn't good enough so they went to the next level and the cycle continues. People choking themselves out during sex cause they are numb to other methods.

Jesus will accept anyone for whom they are. He came down to us, we don't have to go to Him. It's not about how your good outweighs your bad, not about how many prayers to Saints with many hail Mary's, not about if you have done enough works, not about how you are paying your debt with this life and not about transforming yourself to become a god.

With Jesus the heavy lifting is already done.

I grew up in a Christian church went to a Christian school, went to church every Sunday. Then I got older and ddnt go to church for years, did criminal Activities, slept around.

Been a few years a few missteps along the way bit the Lord has my heart.

A lot of young people who claim to be Christian only have a nagging belief in God and heaven due to how they were raised.....but they don't want to live a Christian life. Mainly because it just seems boring as fukk. They feel like they're invincible and aren't likely to die around that age, and they have plenty of time for that religion shyt "when they're ready". So they do all the shyt they wanna do that they KNOW is contrary to what the bible says (fornication is the most common), then when they get older and one step closer to death (e.g. their 30s), THAT'S when they decide to appear to take their religion more seriously, and start going to church and shyt

Here's the kicker: by that point, some of them STILL do shyt throughout the week.....but then use church/religion as some kinda lifesaver. They think as long as they go to church once a week and read/quote a few bible passages every now and then, that they're locked in for heaven even though they still ain't living right

It's like a bytch in her 20s who was a well-known hoe that fukked a few hundred nikkas with no fukks given.....and now she in her 30s praising the lord and acting like she's born-again and pure, on some TI 'Road To Redemption' shyt.....but she STILL ho'ing on the low (usually while married), and she just pretending that God either can't see, or is giving her a pass because it's just sex

When them same people hit their 50s, THEN they might finally stop fukking around and actually try to follow the bible....because by then, they KNOW their death isn't that far away anymore

That is literally how life goes for the most part. People doing dumb shyt while they are young. and getting smarter and wiser through growth. you might not have been a whore. you could have been a thief, gang banger, piss poor friend, selfish, a self absorbed ass hole, hell even an idiot. And yet you grew and got wiser. Seems to me a lot of yall are going to miss out on some good shyt going forward thinking about the past.
