I'm sure there were always complaints about Apu from that community. The complaints spoken about in the Problem with Apu didn't just come out of nowhere. It's not my place to tell another race how they should feel about a popular interpretation of that race on a mainstream and very popular tv show.

Every other race tries to tell black folks what's offensive to us, and then get mad when we tell them they can't speak for us.
