I think Republicans will eventually have to act. We like to pretend that only the poor people are eating off of snap.

But the think of how many white owned grocery stores, farms, dairies, convenience stores, factories, and logistics companies are the end destination of that government money. In a Southern state, pretty much all these entities are owned by rich white Republican bussinessmen.


And if you think snap is bad, just wait a few more weeks until HUD runs out of money for section8. Lots of old Republican landlords and apartment companies rely on that money
