But I wouldn't be surprised. What More Can I Say sounds very similar to Just Might Be Okay, plus Lucifer and a few other verses have early Lu's cadence. Then afterwards, Hov Executive Produced Food & Liquor, and gives him a verse on Pressure after the album leaked(song was originally Trials & Tribulations and didn't have a hook or Hov verse) way early and he went and re-worked some of the songs and added new ones. Hov was def trying to sign Lu and Lu clearly didn't go that route(signs with Atlantic), which is why it seemed like Hov pretty much washed his hands of Lu being his artist by the time The Cool dropped.
Lupe has definitely written for a lot of artists, and if he was present during the Black Album sessions, I def would believe a dude with that talent would give some bars to Hov. Wouldn't be the first time Hov has had that kind of input from artists around him.

Like I said. I don't think Lupe flat out wrote for Jay. I don't see Jay just taking reference tracks n shyt. I think he did to Lupe like he did to Camp Lo with "Feelin It" and a couple other tracks on Reasonable Doubt.
