Yeah I really don't get the Mac Jones hate on this board. Last year nikkas loved Burrow and Tua. Jones had a worse supporting cast than both of them when Waddle got hurt. I suppose that sounds hard to say because Devontae Smith but Tua had him, Jeudy, Waddle, and Ruggs all healthy and Burrow had JaMarr Chase, Justin Jefferson, CEH, and Randy Moss's son
College footballl as a whole was down this year and he was playing in empty stadiums

Nobody's crowning him, but I'm definitely taking him over Mac Jones.

I hope he falls to the Saints

If you nikkas don't get the fukk out of here with the Jones praise. You could've put Bo Nix behind that same line, and he would've put up great numbers.

And the comparison to Joe Burrow is retarded. Joe made NFL throws on the daily, and was head and shoulders the best QB in the country from week one on. You could see that Mac Jones wasn't the best quarterback on the field whenever he played a team with an actual NFL-caliber quarterback.

Both Burrow and Mac are very accurate passers, have good not great arms, played with stacked offensive teams, and one season wonders so I can see those comparisons but Joe was better coming out. If Tua was neck and neck with Joe as the best QB his heisman season until he got hurt.
Mac was the better QB in the National Championship game with Fields on the opposite teams

This is Bo Nix with a clean pocket, get thee enitre fukk outta here with that :mjlol: and a lot of time Bo scrambled out the pocket at the slightest bit of pressure while Mac wasn't scared to throw when blitzed.

Lack of mobility gonna make it hard for him. He won't be able to start till he develop real pocket skills. Tua is all worlds talented, but dude mad struggles with NFL pressure and speed without wide open reads.

This is a consistent trend with all Bama QBs.

Tua came off of hip surgery and had no preseason or OTAs. It's still way too early to write Tua off.

And I mean before Tua, Alabama hadn't had a legit NFL prospect since 2005 so you can't really say it's a consistent trend when there's no real track record of Bama QBs being NFL prospects. Tua and Mac are not JPW and McElroy.

I'm not writing off Tua.

I'm saying that Bama QB are gonna need a transition year on the bench to adapt to NFL pocket, because it really feels like oline play are worse than they have been in a long a while. The best line may only have 3 really great linemen. There way more good dlines than they are olines at the moment.

So, you really throwing Mac or Tua in with the sharks. He's gonna have make way faster reads with pressure that they never experienced.
