u really dont know the circumstances of these people. how u gon go to the attic when the wind is already demolishing ur house? u cant go to the basement cause flooding is inevitable.

they were in a no-win situation. this just sucks for everyone affected. we should stop with the shoulda nonsense.

the only thing that coulda saved people is money. this is why im gungho about getting u n1ggas to understand ur main goal in life should be to accumulate as much money as u can. life is fraught with too many uncertainties and natural disasters. the more money u have, the more prepared u are to deal with them.

if u had money and a piece of sh1t storm like this is forecasted for ur neighborhood, u can easily be like fucck it, take ur family and go stay in a hotel at a far state. stay there for as long as u need. if u had money and ur house gets wiped out like so many houses have been, u may be sad for a hour or two, but the pictures of ur other house in another state will wipe those tears away in an instant.

i tell u people, stop wasting ur life on idiotic fun activities week after week. dedicate ur time to saving ur fuccking money. this is the second time in two years that a storm of nightmarish proportions have hit the jersey/ny coast. yall be careful out there.

Depends on how strong the winds were. You dont want to be upstairs with high winds.

I read about some of those idiots going outside during the storm. IMO it doesnt get dumber than that. Some college students were taking a walk because they wanted to see what a hurricane was like, ended up being smashed by a tree.

You are supposed to go into the basement during high winds. Being upstairs is the worst place to be.

Not with heavy ass rain breh :why:

You mean to tell me people up there actually think bein in the basement is a good idea during a hurricane?? :wtf:

If anything you minus well stay on the ground level of your home. High winds aint gonna make your house collapse ontop of you.

The hell they wont. I live in tornado central, high winds will definitely collapse your home.

What kind of basements do they have up north? I know most down south have exits to the outside so its not like a bathtub filling up with water. It would be pretty much impossible for my basement to flood above knee level.

Tornadoes is a whole different story breh :whoa:

A tornadoe gon grab your house, dribble dat bytch between its legs, and 360 two-hand tomahawk dunk dat hoe in the bushes.

And I'm talking about them basements thats fully underground.

There are a lot of basement apartments.

was coming to post this plus with trees falling some people probably figure it's the safest place to go incase one fall on their house while not expecting it to get floaded.

Going to the basements alleviates being killed by a big ass tree crashing through the house and killing you while you sleep. Given a choice I would rather take my chances with the water as opposed to not knowing if a tree is falling or not, they dont give any warnings they just come through and crush the building...

The crazy thing about this storm is that it didnt [seem] that bad from when it was here. I speak from a bronx/westchester perspective.

There wasnt that much rain. A regular summer storm gives way more rain than we seen from sandy. It was the wind that was pretty viscious.

The flooding came from storm surges.
