My mother's long-time friend from Carnarsie, was running down the block to safety from all the water rushing in. She had a tenant living in her basement that almost drown. Her basement and block is completely in ruins, but FEMA came over there yesterday.

People have apartments underground over there? :wtf:

The Northeast is such a mysterious place :wow:

Damn near every building has basement apartments or a basement that's in the process of bein converted into an apartment.

ya... u supposed to go to the bathroom or the nearest room without a window, like a closet or something... certainly not the basement or attic during a hurricane, you increasing your chance of injury/death in those spots.

But really you should evacuate... I wouldn't wanna be in the house through one of them joints.

I'll take my chances going outside to see if I can find something tall like a building rooftop to hang out on. Don't people have any memories of Katrina? The people who survived were ontop of buildings with signs and stuff.

u really dont know the circumstances of these people. how u gon go to the attic when the wind is already demolishing ur house? u cant go to the basement cause flooding is inevitable.

they were in a no-win situation. this just sucks for everyone affected. we should stop with the shoulda nonsense.

the only thing that coulda saved people is money. this is why im gungho about getting u n1ggas to understand ur main goal in life should be to accumulate as much money as u can. life is fraught with too many uncertainties and natural disasters. the more money u have, the more prepared u are to deal with them.

if u had money and a piece of sh1t storm like this is forecasted for ur neighborhood, u can easily be like fucck it, take ur family and go stay in a hotel at a far state. stay there for as long as u need. if u had money and ur house gets wiped out like so many houses have been, u may be sad for a hour or two, but the pictures of ur other house in another state will wipe those tears away in an instant.

i tell u people, stop wasting ur life on idiotic fun activities week after week. dedicate ur time to saving ur fuccking money. this is the second time in two years that a storm of nightmarish proportions have hit the jersey/ny coast. yall be careful out there.
truest hittin them with the truth as usual :pachaha:

random nikka made a thread saying whats the most important thing and when I said people that dont say money are lieing...nikkas was hating. the fact remains. Health more important than money? :ld: How you gonna afford to eat well and maintain activity without having some sort of money. You can run all day but is that really healthy? In the States where there isnt healthcare (or is Obamacare running?) how can you maintain without money? Come on man.

You gotta question the logic in hiding out from a storm in the basement

Me an my homies snuck some bytches into the PAC of my campus while everyone else was huddled up in the crowded SSC. Sturdy building, no security/supervisors, food, weed, liq & magnums

We were upstairs in balcony seats of the theater. Had a window in the hallway behind us that stretched the length of the hallway that us allowed to watch trees fall all around campus and watch stupid people tryna be superman in the storm

We need more hurricanes up this bytch!
