:patrice: I've heard this theory thrown around before but this interview gets pretty deep on the matter. The dude being interviewed is Paul Lawrence Guthrie, author of "Making of the Whiteman." Back in the day I always thought the whole "history being written every 25,000 years" thing was very similar to stuff that's taught in Hinduism but I never thought too much about it....plus the Qur'an thay the NOI has historically used is the same one used by the Ahmaddiyas, a movement started in India :ohhh:

sidenote - the interviewers mannerisms and reactions got me :laff:

For y'all who are familiar with the history of the NOI, what do you think?

Ahmadiya and NOI Muslims use the same Quran as the rest of the Muslim world. its the commentary thats different. Most of us use commentary by Yusuf Ali or Pikhtal ..they use commentary by Maulana Muhammad Ali which is a bit different

Not necessarily .. he could of been trying to teach Islam and his followers I.e. Elijah Muhammad distorted it

Idk this has been argued to death the nation has done a good job hiding the truth, would be devastating to find out fard had Devils blood in him

I think somewhere in his early years he learned bout Islam and put his own twist on to help the black struggle, the rest is history

at the end of the day it doesn't matter where he came from

he taught black folk in America self-empowered and black pride

I still respect him no matter what.

"Overseas Ahmadiyya missionary activities started at an organised level as early as 1913 (the UK mission in Putney, London). For many modern nations of the world, the Ahmadiyya movement was their first contact with the proclaimants from the Muslim world.[19] The Ahmadiyya movement is considered by some historians[20] as one of the precursors to the African-American Civil Rights Movement in America. According to some experts,[21] Ahmadiyya were "arguably the most influential community in African-American Islam" until the 1950s."

well it depends on what you mean by a Pakistani right...because a Pashtun or Baloch will look alike regardless of the border

just like how a panjabi will look alike regardless of the Indian/Pak border
