I am a part of the community I'm speaking on which is why I can speak from actual experience that self destructive music only exacerbates the problem, it's not "just entertainment" when new Orleans never had bloods until Lil Wayne made it cool and alluring, now there are bloods literally everywhere.

For anyone who wants to deny it start this video at 5:54 and listen....:wow:

Cmon. The excuses been around since the birth. Fact is of course rap is PART of what influences many to violence or other stuff. It is what it is. I can break it down in sooo many ways but that would be too long. But its definitely not only rap tho. No way you can deny it.

This///

Teens really wan't to live the life these dudes rap about.......Fact

And their not making rap songs about painting houses, doing carpentry, rebuilding the hood and growing vegetables.

Only issue i take with P is that he tried to throw hiphop under the bus when he wuz tryna make moves..
I remember when he was trying to do stage plays with his own version of "madea"....:snoop:

This dude has tried to generate revenue everyway possible since NL fell off, at one point he owned his entire catologue but when priority folded his publishing went to universal which is why we've seen some old NL releases re-released. P did a LOT of good things in the rap game & his distribution deal was unprecedented but the way he c00ned denouncing the N word, gangster rap, rap in general, people in poverty, changing his name back to percy etc... He was damn near sounding like a devout member of the tea party but when he saw that route wasn't generating revenue he went back to his roots. That hurt his legacy, & he is now viewed as a laughing stock & justifiably so, some people just don't know when to say when.

P is a man without a country like Stringer Bell on the Wire. Not smart enough to thrive in the corporate world outside of hip hop and not young or creative enough to sell records in hip hop anymore. And can't make another dime off them wack ass straight to DVD movies he was making.

:dahell:

How do yall form yall mouths to say stuff like this....Nothing is more cutthroat from a corporate standpoint than the music industry...

The music industry and hip hop are not the same thing......

He thrived in the music industry because he had a product that the public was interested in. Sure he was smart to do it independently and he made a gang of money doing it but let's look at the facts. No Limit's run was only for a good 2 years as far as nationally. P doesn't own the Masters to the No Limit catalogue his employees now own it. If he was that good in the corporate world he wouldn't resort to going against everything he stood for a few years ago. His company filed for bankruptcy. He hasn't been able to bring No Limit back and this is his 3rd or 4th time trying.

First, let me just say that No Limit had an 8 year run......Furthermore, I believe Percy ran a record store before he really started rapping so he's always been an entrepreneur which says volumes.....a manatee can work in corporate America....:camby: with that white washed logic....it takes a certain breed to be an entrepreneur....

Also, I believe he owns( at least did) his masters for everything he did on priority after 1995 when he got that sick distribution deal.......hence him generating 100s of millions in revenue....

And lot of people, poor and wealthy file for bankruptcy.,...

Hell, Trump has filed 3 times, but I got a feeling you wouldn't dare insult his intelligence.....:mjpls:
